Tyler's POV

It was now Monday, and I was at Zara's apartment for the day. She's been making the commute to my house for the last two weeks, so I offered to come to her today. Today's agenda was all wardrobe based. Even though I had no stylist, Zara often acted as one when I was being too indecisive, and today was one of those days.

Tyler: I don't know if I should do the cream chinos with the black cardigan, loafers, hat, the multi camo tie, and white colored shirt or jeans, with the black loafers, lefleur ha-

Zara: (mumbles) Go with the first one... or don't. I don't care.

Tyler: (sucks his teeth) Nigga, can you get the fuck up??

Zara sat up from her bed, making sure her chest wasn't exposed. Which leads me to assume she either had no clothes on at all underneath or just no top.

Zara: Nigga, can you get out of my room!? It's 7 in the morning and you're here yapping! I thought you were coming in the afternoon!

Tyler: You know damn well that when I get up, I'm ready to get shit done right then and there. If I told you I was coming over, you should've already known I was coming in the morning.

Zara: (groans) Show me the options again?

I grabbed the pieces from the chair in the corner of her bedroom and laid them across the bed.

Zara: (looks up at him) What is this even for again?

Tyler: The golden globes afterparty.

She examined both options for a full minute before giving her a choice.

Zara: Go with the first option. I think don't think jeans are appropriate for that type of setting.

Tyler: (nods) Cool. Thanks.

Zara: Can you please get out now?

Tyler: (mugs her) You act as if I haven't seen your titties before...

Zara: And that doesn't bother you any?

Tyler: (shrugs) Nah. Why should it?

Zara: Because that's not what friends do. You don't see each other naked. That's strange.

Tyler: Ra, we basically grew up together. What difference does it make?

Zara: Okay no... growing up together would imply we knew each other before high school. Which we didn't.

Tyler: (groans) Everything has to be logical with you.

Zara: Like you don't act the same way... boy, please.

Tyler: Anyway, I need you to figure out what you're gonna wear because you're going too.

She jerked her head back so hard it would've flown across the room if it could detach from her body.

Zara: Says who??

Tyler: Says your boss.

Zara: Stop trying to pull the "Boss" card on me. It never has and it never will work.

Tyler: But for real, though. I need you to go with me.

Zara: Why? You don't have any jump-offs to call?

Tyler: (raises a brow) Why the hell would I take some people I don't talk to or see to an award show after party when I can just bring you?
