Zara's POV
April 5th, 2023
Lavish Eyez Office
DTLA, California

It feels like the last month went by in a blink of an eye. Ever since my last full week working for Tyler, I've been hard at work on my brand "LavishEyez" which I call "LavEye" for short. We are slowly approaching launch day, which is only a week from now. I made a conscious effort to stay busy and not overthink it. Despite my nervousness, that day will signify five years since my parents passed away. It's a moment filled with mixed emotions. Although they can't be here physically, I know they're here in spirit for this day. My siblings will be flying in for the launch party, and it's been three years since I last saw everyone together.

Currently, I'm working at my office. That's correct, it's my office. While giving the PR boxes a final glance, a knock interrupted me. I was startled by the unexpected visitor, raising an eyebrow in confusion.

Zara: Come in.

Tyler: (walks in) Damn, Ra. You have this place damn near locked the fuck down.

Zara: (smiles) Hey. What are you doing here?

Tyler: I haven't seen or heard from you in a month. I had to hunt you down. I don't like that.

He walked up to me and we had a quick hug before I redirected my attention to my PR boxes.

Zara: My bad, T. I have been dividing all of my time between here and the warehouse. I practically live here now.

He grabbed a PR box and examined it closely.

Tyler: These are sick, Ra. Let me know when you drop the men's line.

Zara: (giggles) Men's line? I purposely designed my brand to be gender-neutral. They can be worn by anyone. Don't stress if you don't find anything you like in this collection. I'm currently working on the next project and I'm confident there will be something for you in it.

Tyler: (smiles) Seeing you pursue your passion makes me genuinely happy.

Zara: It makes me happy to be doing it.

Tyler: In celebration of your launch next week, I got you something.

Zara: You did?

Tyler: Have you looked out of the window today at all?

I narrowed my eyes and approached the window cautiously. I had the blinds closed with the overhead light on for better visibility. As soon as the blinds separated, I was on the verge of collapsing from what I witnessed.

Zara: (cries) Tyler what the- You did this??

Tyler: (laughs) Of course I did. How else can you make sure people are aware that you're launching a sunglass line?

This man surprised me with a billboard. In Los Angeles, California, I have a billboard! It's absolutely mind-blowing.
