Zara's POV

Recently I have been so hard at work getting things prepared for the next launch that I haven't given myself a day to rest. Well, rest from working on my business, that is. I decided that today was going to be that very day.

I dedicated most of my morning to cleaning up around my apartment. Once I completed that task, I got dressed for the day. I was ready to head outside and enjoy the nice weather whatever way I could and the first person who crossed my mind to spend the day with was T. But considering that it was in the middle of the week, he could be busy.

Grabbing my phone off the charger, I clicked on his contact and waited for the call to go through. After two rings, he picked up.

Tyler: Hey.

Zara: Hey. Are you busy at all today?

Tyler: Actually, I am in the middle of a meeting right now.

Zara: Oh shit! I'm so sorry.

Tyler: (chuckles) Ra. It's cool. You okay?

Zara: (mumbles) I'm just bored, that's all. I took a day off to get some things done. Now I have nothing to do.

Tyler: I have one more place to go after this, but I'll be over after that. Just hang tight, aight.

Zara: Yeah, I guess. See you later then. Bye.

Tyler: Bye.

The line beeped on the other end, causing a groan to leave my lips.

Zara: What the hell am I supposed to do now??

I went over to the fridge and opened it up to my eyes, damn near popping out of socket at the sight.

Zara: When was the last time I ate here?? Why don't I have any food!?

Right then and there, I had found my next task for the day. Grocery shopping.

Around two hours later, I pushed the door open to my apartment while pulling in the wagon behind me. The last time Ryah was here, she mentioned it would be a good idea to get a collapsable wagon to make bringing my groceries up a lot easier. Hate to say it, but she was right. When I closed the door and made my way to the kitchen, my phone rang in the pocket of my leggings.

Zara: (sighs) People really know when to bother me.

Letting it continue to ring, I took all the bags out of the cart and place them on top go the counter. Taking all the ingredients I would need for tonight out before putting the rest away in their designated areas.

Spending so much time between the office and T's, I haven't been keeping up with food inventory in my home. Bet I won't let that happen again. I looked at the time on the stove and it was only 4pm.

Zara: I'll go take a shower, change into something comfortable, then start on the food. Yeah... that should kill some time.

I went into my bedroom and grabbed a fresh towel from the closet before making my way across the apartment to use the guest bathroom. Even though this apartment was enormous, spacious and had a gorgeous view of the city... the layout was pretty dumb. My bedroom, which really is the true guest room, is bigger than what the master is supposed to be.

What's supposed to be the master bedroom that I turned into the guest has the bigger bathroom. It truly makes little sense to me. So when I'm here by myself, I shower or take a bath in the guest room instead. Tonight was one of those nights. I walked into the guest room and closed the door behind me.
