Zara's POV

When morning came, I shifted in bed only to realize that the spot next to me was empty. As I opened my eyes, I caught sight of Tyler exiting the bathroom, clad only in a towel.

Tyler: Morning.

Zara: Good Morning. How was your sleep?

Tyler: Good surprisingly. I thought I wasn't gonna be comfortable.

Zara: Why is it that?

Tyler: (snickers) I didn't think I was gonna fit in the bed.

Zara: (giggles) The walls aren't that closed in. I knew you'd be alright.

Tyler: How are you holding up after last night?

Zara: (sits up and stretches) I don't know. I need to check if my legs are still functional. Turned me every which way but loose.

Tyler: (snickers) That's what you wanted.

Zara: Yeah but I didn't think you'd do me like THAT though. Could you hand me your shirt?

He went to the bed's side, picked it up from the floor, and gave it to me. I tossed it over myself before getting out of bed. When I stood up, my knees gave way slightly.

Tyler: (chuckles) You good? Need me to carry you?

I flipped him off and walked to the bathroom.

Zara: it feels so nice out today.

We were going for a morning hike on the trail that was nearby. We got on it about thirty minutes ago and it already felt as though I did a full body workout.

Tyler: I can tell it's gonna be hot as fuck later. Is there a lake around here too?

Zara: There's a beach nearby.

Tyler: You wanna go later?

Zara: Yeah we can.

We stopped for a second to take a break. Where we decided to stop had a nice view too.

Tyler: Ra.

I turned to see him pointing his phone at me. I figured he wanted a picture so I smiled. Then I heard the snap sound and he put his phone down.

Zara: Let me see.

Walking over to him, he turned his screen toward me. I shielded the sun rays with my hands so that I could see it.

Zara: (smiles) You have to send that to me.

Tyler: (nods) I know the drill.

He took a few more of me then we started back on the trail. By time we made it to the end it, it was noon. We left out at ten.

Tyler: Damn. I'm hungry now.
