Millie's pov

"Millie stop shaking everything will be fine" Jake tells me from the drivers seat.

"How long now" I quickly say ignoring his previous comment.

"About five minutes, seriously Millie everything will be okay, I promise" Jake tells me and I let out a sigh.

"You don't know that Jake" I state, Jake didn't really have an answer for this but I didn't expect him to.

"Sometimes you need to stop expecting the worst and hope for the best" Jake tells me, his cleverly word quote made a smile.

"Your right Jake" I say giving him a pleasing smile.
"Here we go" Jake says stopping the car outside Casey's house.

I had no idea if he was even home, I had no idea if he would even talk to me, what if he didn't even let me in! Wait, I need to hope for the best and stop expecting the worst.

"Do you want me to..." Jake tried to ask me a question but in a sudden burst of confidence I sprung out the car and headed for the door. I knocked harshly on the door several times not wanting my confidence to slip and eagerly waited for a response.

Moments later Chet appeared at the door to greet me. his face light up at the sight of me, it was nice to know I had been missed.

"Millie your back" He says as if I had been away a year when in fact it had been less than a day.

"Where's Casey" I say rudely not really thinking about how much I had missed Chet.

"Upstairs" he says sympathetically, Chet had probably realised why I had gone away by now Jake standing behind me in the doorway was a big clue.

I made a dash for the stairs, I could hear voices Casey's voice, it was so good to hear his voice. I walked towards the room that was once mine, not just mine but mine and Casey's with the hopes that it could be ours again.

I knocked softly on the door clearly I had lost some of my confidence on my way here but still I had high hopes going in to this conversation.

"Yeah" I hear Casey say, I took a deep breath a pushed open the door to see Casey lay down on the door playing with Alfie. Alfie was giggling his little head off as his dad held him up in the air making out he was flying.

Casey's eyes landed on me, he looked shocked to see me but not at all disappointed. I send him a smile which he returned straight away.

"It's nice to see you but I thought you were going to be away longer" Casey states break the silence, I shut the door and walked further into the room. I sat down on the edge of the bed, Casey realised I was ready for a serious conversation and sat up as well.

"Is something wrong" he questioned.
"I came to apologise" I say sweetly.
"Apologies, for what you have done nothing wrong" He says quite confused.
"I have, I've put you through hell Casey and I want to say I know the truth now and I should of believe you" I say Casey was still a little unsure of what I was talking about.

Casey lay Alfie down in his cot and sat up next to me. I took a deep breath and lent towards him, my lips planted on his, how I had missed his kisses. Almost instantly he kissed me back, our kiss depend, even after all this time their was still a spark between us and right now it was bigger and brighter than ever.

Casey pulled away and placed his hand on my cheek, our foreheads were still in contact, and a smile was across both our faces.

"What changed your mind" he asked me.

"I went to see Jake, his story matched you're and not Betsy's. I believe you" I say and the smile on his face managed to grow bigger.

"I want you back Casey" I say and he simply reconnected our lips, the pain from being apart from Casey just drifted away.

I could've happier than I am right now, I have my world back together.

"So are we back together" Casey asked as he stood up and took my left hand into his.

"Yeah we are" I say joined him on my feet.

"Good, I have something that belongs to you" Casey says, I could quite think of what it was until Casey got down on one knee which flood back memories of his proposal at the baby shower.

"That if you want it" He says pulling the tin out of his pocket. I found it adorable that the ring was in his pocket, he kept it close to him while we were apart.

"Of course I want it, I want you" I say and Casey slid the ring onto my finger, suddenly everything felt right again, everything was back in place.

"I love you, I always have and I always will" Casey tell me and he rises to him feet.

"I love you two Casey, I should of never let you go" I tell him.

"You wouldn't of had to if I hadn't been so stupid" Casey says but I hush him and put my finger to his lips.

"Let's forget the past and focus on our future, together" I say and Casey nods kissing me again.

What a perfect day, I'm so happy right now. My family is back together, I'm engaged again, I couldn't wish for anything better.

A/N- Sorry for the little wait for this chapter totally lost track of how long it had been since I updated this book.

Possibly the longest chapter name ever but thought it would be a good one.
