Forty four// I thought she was the one

Casey's pov

I woke up to the sound of Alfie crying, I rolled over to look at Millie,

"Are you going or should I?" I asked and Millie throw the covers over me and left to room to get Alfie.

Millie walked back into the room with a crying Alfie in her arms.

"I think he wants his dad" Millie says handing Alfie to me.

"I can't believe your going to be my wife in two day" I express

"I can't wait" Millie says adding one of her amazing smiles.

"I got a call yesterday and there's been a problem with the bridesmaid dresses so I'm going down to the shop to see to it this morning" Millie tells me.

"Do you need my help?" I offer.

"No it shouldn't take long an hour or so, but could I leave Alfie with you it will take ten times longer if he's there crying his eyes out" Millie says and I nod kissing her temples.

"I'm going in the shower"Millie tells me leaving the room.

I got Alfie ready and then showed myself, by the time we were both ready Millie was leaving.

"See you in a bit babe" she shouts from the front door.

"Love you"

"Love you two" She shouts back

A few seconds later I hear the door open downstairs.

"Did you forget something?" I question walking down the stairs with Alfie.

As I reached the bottom of the stairs I realised that it wasn't Millie but Chet.

"Get your coat" Chet says.

"Why where are we going an what's the rush" I ask following Chet into the living, he was looking out the windows at a car.

"We're going to follow Millie" Chet informs me.

"No way is that happening" I explain to him sitting myself down in the sofa and turning on the TV.

"Casey she got in that car, who's car is that?" Chet questioned still looking out the window.

"I don't know, one of her friends probably" I say and he turned to face me.

"Did you not ask where she was going!" He almost shouts at me.

"She's going to the bridesmaid dress shop because there's a problem" I explain to Chet doing my best to stay calm unlike him.

"And you didn't ask who she was going with" Chet announced running his hands throw his hair.

"Chet calm down, I have told you Millie isn't cheating on me. I trust her, end of"  I Clarify and put an end to this conversation.

"I'm going to prove it to you, Millie is Cheating!" Chet shouts before leaving the house.

"Uncle Chet can go a bit Crazy some times but most of the time he's a lot of fun" I tell Alfie, he started giggling as we played peek a boo.

"You have your mothers adorable laugh" I say kissing his forehead.

I spent the afternoon at home playing with my son waiting for either Millie or Chet to walk throw the door.

"Casey!" Chet screens walking into the living room.

"Let me guess you have prof" I say with a little laugh knowing that he wouldn't be able to convince me.

"I actually do and you can't deny photo evidence" Chet tells me handing me his phone.

Their was a photo on the screen of Millie and some random man walking towards a house together they weren't holding hands or anything but she was smiling at him the way she smiles at me.

Chet was right, she's cheating on me.

"You were right" I say too Chet holding in my tears.

"I did want to be but I knew I was" Chet says giving me a hug.

"What are you going to say to her?" Chet questioned.

"Nothing, I'm not saying anything. She would never marry me if she wants to be with man, she will tell me" I say to Chet who looked very surprised.

"And what if she doesn't what if your about to say I do and she still hasn't told you"Chet explains to me

"She would never do that too me" I tell him.

"You said she would never cheat on you, and she has" Chet States

"Face it Casey you need to end it before you put that ring on her finger" He tells me and I nod letting all all my tears fall.

How could this happen, our perfect family ruined by some silly affair. I thought she was the one.

A/N- took me forever to write this chapter
