Forty six // Childhood memories

(Same day as the last chapter)
Casey's pov

I set off for Millie's mums house but once again I backed out, I ended up going to the local little kids park.

I sat on the swings generally swinging back and forth, letting the memories from this park flood my mind.

This was a very special place to me and Millie, we grew up together and some of my best childhood memories with her were in this park.

"Casey" I hear a female voice say, I jumped of the swing and spun around to see Millie standing there.

"Millie what are you doing here you?" I ask her.

"I could ask you the same question" she tells me, Millie walked throw the gate into the park and sat on the swing next to me.

"You look beautiful" I tell her, she was wearing a red dress with red high heels.

"Thanks me and the girls went out but there all back at the house now I just came for a walk" Millie informs me.

"So why did you come here?" Millie's continued.

"Just wanted a walk to clear my head" I tell her.

"So why here" I ask

"Well this places has so many memories for us and it's the day before our wedding, it just made sense" Millie explains.

"What's your favourite memories of us in this park?" I question looking out at the sun set.

"Well there's obviously the time we meant when we sat on these swings" Millie says and I laugh a little at the memory.

"I remember that you were scared of heights so I push you really high just to annoy you" I say.

"You were a very mean to me yet I ended up falling in love with you" Millie tells me making me smile.

"I remember the first day I kissed you, we were in the castle over there and I was so nervous. You had run away because your mum hadn't made you tea or something silly like that and you knocked on my house and we came here, you told me all about it and in the end I just kissed you" I remind her of the memory.

"I remember that day, then instead of going home to my tea I went to your house and we sat in your room playing your video games all day" Millie adds.

"Yeah that was the first time you slept over and my mum got really mad because you stayed in my room instead of the guest room" I continue.

"How old were we then?" Millie questioned.

"Like 10 or 11" I say

"What on earth did she think we were going to do at that age?" Millie says laughing a little.

"I don't know but she knew that I was in love with you so she was probably just over reacting as normal" I say laughing.

Millie's pov

"What about that time we fell out because I did go over yours I went to my friends birthday party" I say

"Oh yeah and late that night we both ran away to here and ended up making up some how" Casey continues the story.

"Didn't we end up sleeping here?" I ask and Casey nods.

"Our parents killed us for that" he adds.

"I didn't realise how many amazing memories  we had here" I say.

"Their has been quite a few" Casey says smiling.

"Millie?" Casey says and I turned to face him.

"Yeah"
"You'd never lie to me right" Casey asked, I was a little shocked I didn't see that question coming.

"Course I wouldn't, why do you ask" I question, their was a long pause.

"Chet thinks your cheating" Casey says unable to look at me.

"He thinks what" I ask unsure that I had hear him right.

"Please denied it" Casey says turning to me.

"Oh course it's not true I wouldn't even dream of it" I say standing up in front of Casey who was still sat in the swing.

"Then who have you been sneaking around with" Casey asked me.

"I haven't been sneaking around I've just been out" I tell him.

"Chet followed you" Casey informs me.

"So I have a stalker brother in law, when did he do that?" I ask

"Two days ago he watched you get into a random car, he followed the car to a flat in town and you went in with some man" Casey tells me.

"Casey that was my dad, he's moving into a flat in town with his girlfriend" I tell him and Casey's face light up.

"Thank god" Casey says jumping up and wrapping his arms around me.

"I know you haven't seen your dad much but why were you out with him every day?" Casey asked as we walked hand in hand around the park.

"He wanted help moving in as his girlfriend works full time and we were work on something for the wedding, he going to walk me down the aisle" I tell Casey.

"That's amazing but why didn't you just tell me?" He asked.

"I wanted it to be a surprise, only me, dad and mum knew" I tell him.

"I'm sorry I ruined the surprise" Casey apologised.

"It's alright, I'm sorry you had to listen to Chet thinking I was a cheat. I hope you know I'm going to kill him after the wedding" I say making Casey laugh.

"That reminds me, this is bad luck we best get back" Casey says giving me a kiss.

"See you in the morning" he says.

"I'll see you at the church" i say back.

"don't be late" Casey says as he jumped the fence around the park like he used to as a kid.

I headed back to my mum's house, I'm really mad at Chet one for putting that idea in Casey's head and two for stalking me like that. Has he ever hear of just asking?

"It's only me" I say as I enter the house. I walked into the living room to see only my mum on the sofa with a cup of tea in her hand.

"Everyone gone to bed" she informs me.

"You didn't have to wait up for me" I tell her sitting down on the sofa with her.

"It was for my peace of mind" she says with a motherly smile.

"So are you excited?" She asked.

"Definitely, I can't wait" I tell her with a smile on my face.

"Well you best get your sleep I know I need mine" She says heading out the room.

"Mum" I call after her, she stopped in the door way and turned to face me.

"I love you" I tell her.

"I love you two sweetheart" she says back to me.

I tip toed into my bedroom doing me best not to wake Alfie. I quickly put my pyjamas on and got into bed.

I got a text from Casey right before I went to sleep it read,

One message from Casey😘
See you in the morning my princess,
I love you with all my heart❤️💍xxx

I replied with

One message To Casey😘
I can't wait to be your wife,
I Love you so much babe❤️💍xxx

I put my phone on the bedside table and put my head on the pillow falling straight to sleep.
