Twenty// An explanation

*26th February*

Casey's pov

I had seen the magazine, I understand why Millie is upset but I need her to believe me that nothing is going on between me and Betsy.
Because Millie and Chet got stuck in traffic yesterday they didn't get into Newcastle till about 1:30 this morning so we hadn't been able to talk through the whole magazine thing but they are coming over to my hotel today so that we can talk through it.

I had asked Betsy to come over to my hotel room so that she could back me up in saying that we don't have feelings for each other.

"Thank you for doing this" I tell Betsy, she locked her phone and looked up at me.

"It's no bother I just want to help"Betsy says, I really hope this plan works. Betsy and Millie have never met before so they might not get on which would make things worse.

I was drawn out of my thoughts by a knock on my hotel door that must be them.

I walked over to the door and opened it to see Chet and Millie standing their but Alfie's wasn't, had she seriously not brought my little boy to see me.

"Hi" I say to both of them moving a side to let them in, I have Chet a hug as he walked into the room. I tried to hug Millie but she didn't seem to want one.

As Millie walked further into the room she noticed Betsy in the corner of the room, she didn't look happy.

"Oh sorry did we interrupt something" Millie snapped in Betsy's direction.

"No it's nothing like that, Casey asked me to come over to help explain" Betsy says but Millie didn't look convinced.

"Come on then explain" She says to me, I was to busy thinking about Alfie to reply to her.

"Casey, an explanation would be nice" Millie says raising her voice.

"Where's Alfie" I ask ignoring everything Millie had just said.

"At my aunties" She says.
"Did you not think I would want to see him or something. Mill I haven't seen him for two weeks I want my little boy in my arms again why wouldn't you bring him" I half shout, Millie looked annoyed at me for not answering her questions but I didn't care I need to see my little boy.

"You can see him once we have sorted this out" She says firmly.
"Alright, that magazine is just making up a story because they have nothing truthful to write about me and Betsy are just friends" I explain, Millie looked over at Betsy who just nodded to confirm what u had said.

"Why were you out with her?" Millie asked

"I wasn't to be honest that was just us getting off the tour bus and we just happened to be having a conversation" I continue too explain.

"Do you promise me there is nothing going on here" Millie says.

"I promise you Millie" I say. I'm kinda hurt that Millie thinks I would go behind her back like this, I out that ring on her finger as a symbol of my love for her. She meant to trust me.

"Okay, well I'm sorry for getting annoyed...at both of you" Millie says looking at both me and Betsy. Betsy stood up and walked over to Millie.

"I'm sorry this all happened but it was really nice to met you and I hope we can be friends" Betsy says and Millie nods then they hugged. At least one good thing has come out of this.

Betsy said bye to all of us then left the hotel room. Millie looked quite guilty sitting on the bed so I went and sat with her.

"Chet can you give us a minute" I say and Chet nods then leaves the room. Once he had gone Millie broke down into tears.

"Hey, what's wrong" I say kneeing down in front of her. Her hands we covering her faces as she sobbed into them.

She looked up to try and pull heralded together, I took her hands into mine and made her face me.

"Millie I love you" I say to her.
"Honestly I don't know why you do" she says.
"Millie their are thousands of reasons why I love you, please don't say that" I tell her and she just nods.
"I'm sorry I got so worked up over that whole magazine, I won't do that again" She says.
"It's okay, we had been a part for a long time it was only normal for you to react the way you did" I tell her. I moved back into the bed and pulled her into my arms.

I lightly kissed her forehead as she brushed away her tears.

"Now can we go and see our son" I ask and Millie nods.
"I'm sorry I should of brought him here" Millie says as we leave the hotel room.

"Stop saying sorry you did the right thing, you just didn't want Alfie to see us fight you were being a good mum" I say takin her hand into mine.

We left the hotel and met Chet in the car park. We got into the car and drove to Millie's Aunty's house.

We walked into the house to see most of the family from around here sitting their admiring our little boy. I just hope he remembers me.

"Hi everyone" Millie says as we walk further into the living room. I said hi to everyone very quickly then raced over to my little boy.

As I walked over to him he little face light up and he started giggling. I'm so happy to have my little boy back I lifted him out the cot and held him in my arms.

"Have you missed me, I missed you so much" I whisper in his ear as he holds on round my neck. I kissed the top of his head a few times, it just felt so good to have him back.

After spending about three hours with the family, I remembered I had a show to do tonight.

"Millie I have to go" I tell her.
"Well why don't you take Alfie up to bed first" She say which made me smile. I carried Alfie up the stairs and I to the spare room where him and Millie were sleeping.

I lay him down and placed his favourite elephant pillow under him.

He instantly fell to sleep and I kissed his forehead.

"I'll see you soon" I whisper. I was unsure weather I would see after tonight's show or even in the morning so I had to say my goodbyes.

I switched the light off and slowly left the room closing the door behind me. I went back downstairs and grabbed my jacket.

"Right I'm off, it was nice seeing you all again" I say walking out of the living room, Millie followed me out along with Chet.

"Can you drive me Chet" I asked him and he nodded, he got his keys out and headed out to the car.

"Enjoy the show" I tell Millie.
"Yeah got my banner ready and everything" Millie joked.
"What time are you leaving" I asked

"Tomorrow night" Millie says which made me smile because I thought they would of been leave before that but I was really happy they were staying longer.

"Okay well if I don't see you tonight, have a good night and see you tomorrow" I says pulling her into a hug.

"I'll give you a text when I can, have a good show" Millie says. we pull away from our hug then I kissed her lips before stepped out the door and getting into chest car.

We headed for the arena where I met the rest of the boys, we began getting ready for the tour tonight. I can't wait to play Newcastle!!!!!

A/N- sorry for the wait I had to write to twice because it didn't save the first time which was annoying.
