"arent they so cute?" fuyumi asked. i nodded to satisfy her. i have no attachment to kids whatsoever. 

"thank you for dropping me off" she said. i nodded. "by the way...i wanted to ask you something" she said. "what?" i asked. "are you free this sunday?" she asked. i nodded. "...would you...then go and meet mom with me?" she asked. 

i sighed. "i rather not" i replied. "what...why?" she asked. "i dont think i want to" i replied. "...oh" she looked down. "...uhm okay...i thought you would want to see your mom-" "i dont" i said. "...okay" she smiled painfully. 

"i better get going then." she said. i nodded. "good bye, have a good day. work hard!" she said. i nodded and went inside my car. i sat as i thought. fuyumi wants me to work and be a hero for myself, not for dad. i took a deep breathe. 

i...dont know what i want...what i want is...to be like shoto so father could've looked at me. what if...i become as successful as shoto and father will finally look at me. i am getting too desperate...but i just want father to acknowledge me. i want shoto to look at me...i want them to acknowledge me....

i get a phone call from hawks...should i take up the opportunity? 

i was going through some paperwork while marking things down. "hello everyone, how are yall doing" hawks said entering the cabin area. "good evening sir!" everyone got up and wished. i was still seated down. i am not wasting my energy on getting up and wishing him. 

"so fellow heroes. today i have to make a great announcement" i heard hawks. my head aches. he speaks too much. 

"i would like to congratulate h/n that works in our agency who has successfully entered the rank in top 10 heroes today!" i heard clapping. it took me some time to realize he called out to me. 

i looked at him. "come to my cabin" he said pointing to me. i sighed. he didnt have to call me out in the public like that. 

i stood up. "hey! congrats!" i heard. i ignored all the wishes and went to hawks. "congrats! come on!" he said and i followed him into his cabin. "so what are your plans now that you're in the top 10?" he asked sitting down. 

"what do you mean?" i asked. "you wanna take over my agency or what?" he asked. "you want me to leave, just ask for it" i said. he chuckled. "absolutely not! what i meant to say was that...you have to start your own agency" he said. 

"have you thought about it?" he asked. "...no" i replied. "knew it, thats why i want you to start a new agency and i want you to take over half of them on. i cant manage all of this on my own" he said. 

he put down some papers on me. "i have signed it. if you're ready to take over half of my agency and start your own... im more than happy to" he said. 

"i dont know..." i said. "i talked about going upto your potential, and you're doing that. i dont see why you cant start an agency. afterall you're in the top 10 heroes now. all of them have their own agency" he said. 

i sighed. "its an open offer. say yes whenever you want, i dont mind" he said. i dont know what to do. a whole agency upon myself is a huge responsibility. 

"i'll do it" i said. "oh thats great! all of the requirements you need for the agency is right in there, so you dont have to struggle like i did. fly off birdie" he said patting my head. 

"dont say that ever again" i said. he's so annoying sometimes. he laughed. "alright, sign it then" he said. i opened the file and read through. alright, he's handing me over half of his agency. i signed it. 

"awesome" he said. "you know what, i'll take you to a party with me" he said. "no thank you" i said standing up. "oh please. you're young. you have to live that. even though i am getting old..." he said.
