9 months.
just three months to a whole year spending together.
"come here" bakugo said to y/n as he laid on his bed watching the tv. "what?" she asked. "come here" he said making space for her next to him. she sat down. "i have to go" she said looking at the time. "why?" he asked. "what do you mean why? do you not remember tomorrow is 20th. we have extra meeting tomorrow and you have an important appointment with someone" she reminded."ah fuck. thats tomorrow" he groaned. "i should go" she stood up. "you can go tomorrow directly from here" he said. "we barely met this week" he added. "...i have to take my medicine" y/n replied.
"what medicine?" he asked. "some medicine i take everyday" she replied. "what are those for?" he asked concerned.
y/n doesnt want to tell bakugo about the anxiety medicine. "...j...just some medicines doctor has prescribed" she said and turning around to leave. he grabbed on her hand and pulled her to make her sit next to him.
"doctor cant prescribe you medicine without a reason" he said. she stayed silent. she didnt want to tell him about her anxiety problems. ironically, her anxiety to surface up. she started fidgeting with her hands.
"are you not comfortable enough to tell me what medicines you take?" he asked. he noticed her finger fidgeting. he put his hand over her hands and held it.
"i want to hear you out y/n. but you dont speak. do i have to wait for you to have a breakdown to tell me what it is?" he asked.
y/n has been skipping the medicine. that clearly is causing a problem because she is getting anxious with every word he speaks. "you know...i just want to know, even though i shouldnt be asking you this, but what happened after high school" he said.
y/n nervously tapped her feet. "you're nothing like what you were, it hurt me see you almost emotionless" he said. "i remember that shy, introverted but cheery girl i liked" he said. "but all i see now is a cold person" he continued.
his words continue to make her remind of everything that happened. her hands and feet start to shake. she wished she had taken those medicine.
"i just want to kn- hey, whats wrong" he asked noticing her shakiness. "look at me" he said holding her face and facing her towards him. she doesnt look at him, she looks down.
"y/n, please talk. i want to help you. i want to make you happy, why wont you let me" he said.
her eyes tear up. she doesnt want to remember the stuff he is making her. "tell me what has bothered you so much...i'll listen to you" he said. tears fell down her eyes.
he wiped her tear. "will you tell me?" he asked. she sniffled as she sobbed. "i dont want to remember it..." she said amidst crying.
"i dont want to remember my mother or my brother...i dont want to remember father or shoto or nee san" she cried.
"i am not a part of their family..." she sobbed. "all i wanted was...for my father to look at me the way he did at shoto..." she looked down and sobbed with her hands shaking. "i dont remember who my mom was or is...i dont think she remembers me either...i cant make up the courage to see her despite being a few steps away from her...i dont know who my brother is and no will tell me" she cried.
he pulled her into his chest and let her cry.
so she didnt know who her eldest brother was.
y/n was dropped off at her house by bakugo the previous night. he consoled her but he still doesnt know that she eats anxiety medicines, which she broke off months ago. because she believed she was fine. although when she has a panic attack, those do give her an instant relief.
