y/n sat on the bar stool in front of her kitchen island. she pressed hard on her hand while looking down in distress.

"damn it" she mumbled picking up another cotton swab and clearing the blood off her wound that wouldnt stop bleeding.

with some more effort and patience, it stopped bleeding. y/n covered the wound with bandages and decides its finally time to go to sleep.

its been like a 2-3 weeks since she has joined the hero council. she's called for emergencies almost all the time, she has to disrupt her schedules, but thats only the bad part. the good part is, that her rank is going up.

within the two weeks, she is in the top eight. her phone rings. she picks it up. "hello?" she asks. "h/n, are you within saora ward?" another voice speaks. "uhm...yes, who is it?" she asked. "hero council, there's an emergency nearby, could you report to it immediately, its on level 3, other heroes have been informed too" the other side spoke.

"o-okay i'll reach there, forward me the location" she said and hung up. she got dressed in the hero costume within a minute and rushed out of her house.

"i think...it was a red tie too" y/n said to the police. "okay thank you for the information. if you recollect anything else, please inform us" the police said. she nodded.

"dynamight, could you give us some information if you have any?" the police asked turning to bakugo. y/n looked at him and then at her watch. "i heard what she said, i have nothing to add" he said.

the police nodded and wrote that down. "thank you. you can leave now" he said. everyone begun to leave.

"oi wait," y/n heard as she was leaving. unsure whether it was for her, she continued walking. "y/n todoroki" he called out. she stopped. she sighed and turned around. "what?" she asked. "are you deaf or something?" he asked approaching her.

"what is it? i have to go home" she said. "yeah right, after this. there's a mission, im offering you to come with me" he said. "depends, but there are other people out there, just ask them" she said.

"but i didnt ask them, did i? i specifically want you to come" he said. "why?" she asked. "you have a brain, figure it out." he said. "y/n, are you okay?" they heard a voice approaching. it was shoto.

"how come are you everywhere i am" y/n said. "bakugo...what are you doing here? with her?" shoto asked. "talking about a mission we're going together" bakugo said looking at her. she rolled her eyes.

"and what is it to you, icy hot" he said. "she's my sister" shoto replied. "and?" bakugo asked. shoto looked at him. "why are you always in middle of anything i do" bakugo said. "i am not, bakugo. you always do things that involve me" shoto said.

"are you fucking drunk? you're not even making sense" bakugo said. "bakugo, i am not drunk" shoto said.

"okay, thats it. i am going home, you should too shoto, i dont need you to showing up every time i am on some sort of emergency" y/n said walking away.

y/n walked in the hero council meeting area. it was empty except one person... y/n sighed. she quietly sat down at her seat. "you're early" he said as he was going through his phone. "everyone else is late" she replied taking her phone out. "the meeting was postponed by half an hour" he said.

"oh..." she mumbled. "but thats good you came, gotta talk" he said standing up and getting something from his table and putting it down on her's.

"its the mission i was talking about yesterday and have enrolled you in, until your irritating brother came in between" he said. "i never said yes to the mission" she said. "you're about to" he said.
