Ryder and the Paw Patrol watched as the army filled the streets. Soldiers walked alongside robots, drones, and somehow tanks.

"How did he get his hands on tanks?" Marshall asked.

"When he said he had an army," Chase said, "I didn't imagine this." Chase looked closely, and his eyes widened. "Some of them have police uniforms."

Ryder looked at him. "The Copycat said that he mind-controlled the law enforcement here." Ryder turned to the team. "I know this looks like an impossible battle, but remember why we are doing this. Innocent lives are at stake. We got this."

"I'm glad you made it," someone said from the air. The Paw Patrol looked up at the Copycat flying above them. "Say hi to my army."

"Copycat, you don't have to do this," Ryder tried to reason.

"I know I don't," The Copycat said. "But I want to. I will take over Crystal Coast, the country, and after that, the world. After that, I'll come to Adventure Bay. Fortunately, you won't be around to witness it." The Copycat tapped his right ear. "Harold, now."

After a second of nothing happening, a portal appeared behind the team over the bridge, covering the whole span. The Paw Patrol turned around to see an image inside the portal of a busy street they recognized. They recognized the veterinarian clinic, the grocery store, and the building with the "Adventure Mall" sign over the front doors. Another portal appeared next to the bridge on the water, and another appeared in the air.

"Sadly, this is the only place where the energy is strong enough to create portals big enough to pass through, but no matter. To get to them, we'll go through you. At least, they will."

"Too scared to face us yourself?" Chase asked.

The Copycat scoffed. "I'm not wasting my energy on you. That's why I have them. Go ahead, my army. To the battle." The Copycat flew away as the army pushed forward at an accelerated rate.

"Alright, everyone knows their roles," Ryder said. "Let's go. Chase, you're in charge here while we climb the tower." Everyone nodded. Skye took to the air while Everest and Zuma turned around and ran towards the river. Chase, Marshall, Ryder, Rubble, and Rocky ran forward.

"We'll keep them as far away from the portal as possible," Chase told Ryder as they ran. "Hopefully, long enough for you to shut down the portals."

"Sounds good, Chase," Ryder said. He looked forward to the wave of soldiers that filled every part of the street. "How are we going to get through them?" Ryder thought aloud.

Marshall's eyes widened. "I got an idea," he called out. "I'll be back." He turned around and ran in the opposite direction.

"Where's he going?" Rubble asked.

"I'm not sure," Chase said. "But I trust him. Help me hold them off until he comes back."

"Sounds good to me," Rocky called out, with Ryder and Rubble nodding in agreement.

"Remember your training," Ryder called out as they reached the front of the army. The soldiers and mercenaries raised guns at them, ready to shoot.

"Rocky," Ryder called out. "Take their weapons."

Rocky extended his arms forward and closed his eyes. He remembered his training back at the safehouse, trying to maintain control and precision. He felt the magnetic waves coming off the guns. Rocky focused on that and concentrated on raising them. He opened his eyes, and his hands glowed green. The weapons in the enemy's hands rose into the air, leaving them confused.

"Nice job, Rocky," Ryder said. "Let's go."

Chase, Ryder, and Rubble ran at the soldiers, who turned to physical combat. They lunged at the three heroes, unaware of their training. Chase, Ryder, and Rubble punched their way through the soldier. Rubble used his super strength to toss them in the air while Chase jumped up and hit them back down, knocking them out. Ryder dodged a punch, grabbed the soldier's arm, and spun him into another soldier, causing them and others to fall. Chase ran through the ranks at superspeed, taking out the soldiers in his reach. Meanwhile, Rocky focused on taking away guns and tossing them onto a nearby building.

"We're making progress," Ryder said. "But we still need to get to the tower. Where's Marshall?"

"Right here," Marshall said. "And I brought Everest with me."

"What's your plan?" Chase asked. A soldier took the chance to punch Chase in the jaw. Chase swiped the soldier off his feet, grabbed them by the vest, spun them at super speed, and launched him into the center of the crowd.

"Woah," Marshall said. "Anyway, it's better if I show you." Marshall turned to Everest. "Are you ready?"

"Let's do it," Everest exclaimed with a smile.

Marshall turned to the others. "Chase, move them away from the soldiers."

Chase used his superspeed to move the other in an instant. As soon as they were far enough away, Marshall's hands glowed red. He faced his palms forward, the air around him warming up. Fire columns shot out of his hand, creating a flaming barrier between them and the army.

Marshall put one hand down while Everest raised her hand. Their raised hands glowed brightly, launching a column of their unique element. The columns of ice and fire spun around, creating the blue and red vortex from training. The column shot between the army, causing the soldiers to move. The soldiers that didn't move were launched out of the way. The vortex tipped over a tank to its side, making it unusable.

"That's nice," Ryder said. "But how are we going to get through?"

"We're not down yet," Everest said. She and Marshall raised their other hands and launched columns forward. The column made contact with the road on either side of the vortex. A wall of fire ran along the right side of the vortex, while an ice wall ran along the left side. Marshall and Everest put their hands down, revealing a tunnel between a wall of fire and a wall made of ice.

"That's awesome," Ryder said. "How did you know that would work, Marshall?"

"I didn't," he confessed. "I just hoped for the best."

"Well, it worked amazingly,' Rocky said.

"I would hurry, though," Marshall said. "You probably don't have long before the walls disappear."

"Okay," Ryder said. "Thank you. Rocky and Rubble, let's go." He turned to Chase and Marshall. "Are you both fine with taking on the ground forces alone?"

"They won't be alone," someone called out. They turned to see Gabriel, Dave, and Bruce show up with around twenty men with various types of melee weapons.

"I brought some of my old army friends to help," Bruce said. "We're here to even the odds."

Ryder nodded. "Thank you." He was going to say more when they heard a part of the ice wall crack. Everest quickly repaired it.

"You better hurry," Everest said. Ryder, Rubble, and Rocky ran through the tunnel toward the tower. Everest nodded to Marshall and turned to run back to the river when he grabbed her by the wrist.

"If you need any help whatsoever, don't hesitate to tell me, okay?" Marshall said.

Everest couldn't help but smile. "I'll be fine, Marshall." She got close to him and kissed him on the cheek. "See you a bit," she said before running off.

Marshall stayed frozen for a second. He turned to Chase, who saw the whole thing.

Chase smiled and shrugged. "What can I say? It's about time that it happened."

"We all saw it coming, mate," Dave blurted out. "Now, let's get this party going. They're crossing the fire."

Marshall got out of his shock and went to Chase's side. "Ready, Marshall?"

"More than ever, Team Leader Chase," Marshall replied, earning a smile from Chase. They faced forward and ran towards the enemy.
