"Did you hear about the trip the teachers announced?" Hueningkai immediately bumped into Beomgyu in the corridor after homeroom. "I can't believe they're choosing Disneyland of all places. We already went there last year, and their rollercoasters were scary as hell."

"Oh come on, Huening Kamal Kai." Taehyun, the only person who calls Huening by his full name, pops up from behind him. Hueningkai's eyebrows widened to find out that someone was following him this whole time. "You think ALL rollercoasters are scary."

Hueningkai crossed his arms over his chest, his lips forming one shape and then the other. "T-that isn't true. I'll show you just how brave I can be."

Taehyun blatantly stares at him for a full 5 seconds before saying monotonously, "I don't have enough time to waste on this." Then hurries off to his next class.

"Wait, Taehyun!" Beomgyu calls after him as he struggles to keep up.

Taehyun stops at his locker and gives Beomgyu a look that says 'What now?' Which is Beomgyu's signal to come out with what he needs to say in a quick and easy way. "I was thinking about the advice you gave me." His purposely lowered his voice so no one could overhear. "About starting things with Yeonjun."

At first, Taehyun looked totally confused. But after a few seconds, the realization finally hit him. "Oh! That advice! Yeah, did it help you out?"

Beomgyu brought his voice down even lower. "I did as you told me, I called him up at the ramen restaurant and fabricated a lie about Hueningkai. To my surprise, he was willing to end our friendship if it meant I could still uphold my friendship from long before- with Huening."

Taehyun smirks. "See, I always knew he was the perfect candidate. Don't worry, if he's willing to do that for you it means he's desperately wanting to hold onto whatever you guys have." His eyes narrowed at him. "I hope you've been told him that you're gay."

Beomgyu shushed him in the loudest possible way he could. He glanced around in a panic. "Keep your voice down!" He whisper-shouted. "Don't you realize the G-word is strictly forbidden around here?"

"Eh- not really." Taehyun shrugged. "I mean if you love someone, why should it matter what anyone else thinks?"

Beomgyu sighs. "I wish there were more people who thought the same way as you do. But you know, I already look like the perfect target for bullies, I don't need to have another reason for everyone to go against me."

"You don't." Taehyun says, and squeezes Beomgyu's cheeks so tight he was beginning to wonder if the younger meant this as a friendly gesture. "As long as I'm here, I won't let anybody steal your innocence. Whether it's bullies, or even if it's Yeonjun."

Beomgyu blushes at the mention of Yeonjun's name. Taehyun looks at him in surprise, "Wow. Even hearing his name gets you all soft, don't it?"

Beomgyu doesn't answer anything and rushes to his next class, a full-toothed smile uncontrollably lingering on his lips.
