The next morning...
Madeline and Arvid woke up and left the mansion, continuing their journey across the lands.
"Madeline...? Arvid said.
"Yes, Arvid?" Madeline replied.
"..........Where are we going?" Arvid asked. "What is the point of all this?"
"We're on the run from the law, are we not?" Madeline said. "I don't want to get punished, you don't want to get executed."
"But, we cannot just spend our whole lives running from the law." Arvid said. "I'm a congressman. I need to do something with my life. I don't want to be a criminal. I want to have a future. A good future. But now...........We're criminals."
Madeline stopped dead in her tracks.
"Is something wrong, Madeline?" Arvid asked, stopping in his tracks as well. Tears suddenly filled Madeline's eyes. "Madeline, what's wrong?!" Arvid cried.
"I don't know what we're gonna do." Madeline cried. "I don't wanna be a criminal either... But, I don't want you to die!" Arvid looked down in guilt.
"I'm sorry.... That was a very insensitive thing of me to say..." He said with guilt. "I just don't......don't know what to do now...."
"Me neither....." Madeline said. Then, suddenly, a thought popped in her head. "What if we started living in the mountains?"
"What?" Arvid said, completely confused. "Why the mountains?"

"It's far away from society, it's got plenty of supplies for us to last a lifetime." Madeline said happily. "Like food, wood, and water. We could build a cabin up there and start a new life!"
"The mountains are an awfully big place to start a new life." Arvid said sarcastically.
"We could stay there as long as we want." Madeline said. "We could began a new life there together. No one will ever find us there."
"..........." Arvid couldn't say a word.
"Arvid, are you okay?" Madeline asked.
"Yeah, I am okay.." Arvid said. "I...........never had any plans for my future. I couldn't think of what to do with my life... I mean, I am just another congressman in the machine of the Thirteen Colonies... And a servant of my Father... I am nothing.... But, you... You treated me like a somebody since the first time we met. You made me realize that not all wolves are bad. I still will not be a Christian, but wherever you go, I will follow..." Madeline suddenly jumped up and hugged Arvid. "Another hug...?" Arvid sighed.
"Yes..." Madeline said, smiling. "Listen, no matter what happens, I will never leave you. I will always be with you. You can count on that, Arvid."
Arvid attempted to hold in tears as Madeline continued hugging him.
Meanwhile (you can stop playing the video now)...
Williams III, Father Wolf, and the patriots searched around the mansion looking for any traces of Madeline and Arvid.
"They were here." Williams III said. "They couldn't have gone far. Let's move out." The group exited the building to see the wolf pack waiting for them. Ben walked up to Williams III and Father Wolf.
"Ridley... Father... We can't do this anymore.." He said with sadness in his tone. "We need to go our separate ways. We're gonna find my sister and we're gonna keep her safe from the law. We're not letting you separate her from us."
Williams III thought for a minute. "I'm sorry, but you cannot do that." He said. "You are to help us find your daughter or you too will be banished from the Thirteen Colonies. And your home will be burnt to the ground."
"You will not tell us what to do!!" Ben roared. "We will be willing to FIGHT for our home and Madeline! Nothing is gonna make us change our minds!" The patriots aimed their rifles at the wolf pack. Ben growled aggressively.
"That is enough, Ben!" Father Wolf ordered. "We are not gonna lose our home and we are not gonna fight the law!"
"But, they are gonna banish my sister!" Ben cried, teary-eyed. "They can't do this to us!"
"We have to." Williams III said. "It is the law. Now, what is it gonna be? You? Or Madeline?" The patriots cocked their rifles.
"You all evil, evil people..." Ben growled. "No wonder we're forbidden from talking to you."
"Let's find those fugitives and bring them to justice immediately." Williams III said.
Meanwhile...
While walking through the woods, Madeline and Arvid found themselves in a small war torn town. It's completely abandoned.
"Look at what the war done to our country..." Madeline said in shock. "I don't understand what could drive man to do this to us..."
"Are.....you okay, Madeline?" Arvid asked.
"Yes, I'm good." Madeline replied. "Just a little bit....shocked."
"I am too..." Arvid agreed. "None of this would have happened if it weren't for.........the British."
They both walked through the torn up town, their minds blown by the rubble.
"Terrible..." Madeline muttered to herself. "Just.........terrible......"
"Yes...it is." Arvid said, happening to have heard Madeline. "How far are the mountains?"
"I don't know." Madeline said sadly. "It may be far or close, but we are going to the right direction for sure. I know this path very well."
"Yes..." Arvid sighed, still overwhelmed by the war torn town. "We should walk out of here right aw... What is that?"
Madeline and Arvid found themselves staring at a humanoid light.
"Hello?" Madeline called out. "Who are you?"
"Are you another ghost?" Arvid called out. But, the light disappeared. "Who was that?"
"My thoughts exactly." Madeline said. "Let's keep going." She and Arvid left the town only for the light to reappear watching them from behind.
"You must keep on going...." The light said with a quiet voice. "Don't give up........don't give up.................don't........give.......up........"
