The legend of friendship: Never losing faith again

Chapter 26

Williams III pushed Father Wolf aside and the now dead wolf fell next to him. The other patriots pushed the wolves off of them as well. They all slowly got up.

"Thank you, Commander." Williams III said. "You just saved my life."

"What do we do now?" The commander asked.

"Nothing." Williams III announced. "Absolutely nothing. Except for continuing hunting down Madeline and Arvid. Now, let's move." He and the patriots continued moving forward leaving the dead wolves behind.

The now dead Father Wolf, Mother Wolf, Ben, and the others wolves lay on the ground completely lifeless.

"..........Come back to life, little wolves..." An echoing voice said. "Come back........and save your daughter and her beloved friend...." The humanoid light shined above the wolves sparkling specs of light onto the wolves. Then, it vanished. Suddenly, all the wolves slowly got back up, their wounds vanishing.

"We're.......we're alive!" Father Wolf cried. "But.........how?!"

"I........don't know..." Ben said in awe, slowly getting up. "......How is this possible...? We should have died from those gunshot wounds."

"What gunshot wounds?" Mother Wolf said, looking under herself. The other wolves did the same and saw that their wounds have disappeared.

"What in the world?" Father Wolf cried out. "They're gone! It's almost as if we have never been shot!"

"Listen, Father." Ben suddenly said. "We can wonder in complete awe about our wounds' disappearances or we can go save Madeline and Arvid from certain death!"

"Ben's right, sweetie." Mother Wolf said, standing next to Father Wolf. "It is only a matter of time before Ridley gets to them. We have to hurry!"

".........You're right, Leela." Father Wolf said. "Come on, let's move!"

"Yes, sir!" All the wolves howled. "We won't let you down, Alpha Seamus!"

And so, the wolves continued running through the woods in search of Madeline and Arvid. And, now you know. Father Wolf's real name is Seamus and Mother Wolf's real name is Leela. Seamus and Leela led their pack throughout the woods in pursuit of Madeline and Arvid. And, as for Madeline and Arvid. They ran throughout the woods nonstop praying to God that they will make it to the mountains. But, their journey will soon have more bumps, but that will not stop them from getting to the mountains.

Later...

Seamus, Leela, Ben, and the pack continued running through the woods until they reached a cliff.

"Damn it!" A wolf cried out in frustration. "We must have taken a wrong turn! What do we do now?!"

"I think I can help." A voice said. The wolves looks around to see nothing.

"Who in the world said that??!" Seamus cried out.

"Down here, young master." The wolves looked down and saw a passing by cockroach. The same cockroach that encountered Madeline previously.

"Eeeek!!" One of the female wolves shouted out. "A bug! Kill it, kill it!"

"Now, now, there's no need to kill me." The cockroach said sternly. "The name's Walter. I met your wolf daughter in a nearby town. Sweet girl. She and her human friend went that-a-way." He pointed at the northern direction. "Take it easy and find your daughter." Walter then took off.
