5 years later...

Arvid, now a born again Christian, has retired from Congress and has become a priest. And Williams III has gotten rid of the law and wolves and humans now live together in peace.

Arvid walked into his house and sat at Williams III's desk where he waited for him.

"I am about to head over there, Father." Arvid said to his Father. "Wish me luck. This is the first time I'm gonna be there since it happened."

"I'm proud of you, son." Williams III smiled. "If Madeline were here now, she'd be right be your side feeling very proud of you."

"Thank you, Father." Arvid said, actually smiling. "Tell the family I'll be back for lunch."

...

Arvid walked into the cemetery nearby town. He walked up to a still fresh tombstone. It reads,

"Madeline Emerald
God's Other Messenger.
Will never be forgotten."

Arvid stared down at the tombstone. "Madeline." He said. "You.....have saved me from myself. And the devil. You have brought me happiness again and helped me believe there is good in this world after all." Slowly and suddenly, Seamus, Leela, and Ben walked to the tombstone and stood alongside Arvid. "You stayed by my side throughout our journey." Arvid continued. "You healed me when I was injured. You saved me from getting killed. And, most of all, you brought Christianity back into my life." He began to tear up. "Madeline Emerald? I will always love you. You were the greatest friend I've ever had." As he placed his hand against his chest, Seamus, Leela, and Ben howled at the moon.

Arooooooooooooooooo!

"Goodbye, Madeline." Arvid said. "I will see you again one day."

Later...

Leela and Ben left the cemetery. But, Arvid and Seamus stayed and sat next to each other on the ground.

"What are you gonna do now, Seamus?" Arvid asked.

"Your Father gave us a room to live in at your home. But, we turned him down." Seamus said. "Not enough space." Arvid chuckled quietly.

"Sounds like you like your home then?" He asked. "I understand."

"Thank you, Arvid." Seamus said. "You really are a good human. Madeline's right. Not all humans are bad at all."

"You just gotta get to know someone before judging them. Unless they're genuinely evil." Arvid joked. "But, it is true. Not all humans are bad."

"Indeed." Seamus agreed. "What about you? What are you gonna do?"

"I'm a priest now." Arvid said. "Madeline inspired me. She inspired everyone."

"She has, yes." Seamus agreed. "She spread happiness wherever she went. It is almost like she was an angel. She was MY angel."

Arvid nodded.

"We all have to take our journeys to the mountains of Heaven." Seamus said. "Without mountains, there would be no Earth."

"Does that sound right?" Arvid asked.

"I do not really know." Seamus chuckled. "I just wanted to be wise. But, remember this, Arvid. God, Jesus, and everyone we love will never leave us." He then walked off. "Farewell, Arvid. I hope to see you again one day."

"Farewell, Seamus." Arvid said, waving as Seamus walked off. He let out a sigh and looked at Madeline's grave. "..............Thank you, Madeline." He said with a smile. "I hope to see you again one day."
