"so what snacks do you want, I ask pulling up to the service station"

Regina looked around the small convenience store, considering her options. "Surprise me, nerd. Just make sure it's not too embarrassing."

I grinned at her response. "Challenge accepted. I'll be right back."

As I roamed the aisles, I picked up an assortment of snacks, some sweet and some savoury.

Returning to the car, I presented Regina with the snacks. "Here you go, a carefully curated assortment of culinary delights. Hope you enjoy the VIP treatment." " I probably shouldn't be eating any of this I want to lose weight" Regina tells me

I chuckled, "Regina, one snack won't undo all your efforts. Besides, everyone deserves a treat now and then. Trust me; it won't hurt."

Regina hesitated but eventually grabbed a snack. As she nibbled on it, a genuine smile crossed her face. It was a small victory, but it felt like breaking down some invisible barriers between us.

"So, Y/n, what's the deal with you and music?" Regina asked, changing the topic.

I was surprised by Regina's sudden interest in my life. It wasn't the kind of conversation I expected to have with the Queen Bee herself. Nonetheless, I decided to open up a bit.

"Well, music is like an escape for me," I began. "It helps me express emotions and connect with things that words alone sometimes can't capture."

Regina nodded thoughtfully. "I get that. It's like music has its language, you know? It can speak to you in a way that nothing else can."

I was taken aback by her understanding. It was a side of Regina I hadn't seen before – someone who appreciated the depth and power of music. As we continued our conversation, the car became a space for unexpected confessions and shared moments.

Eventually, we found ourselves parked at a quiet spot overlooking the city. The night was calm, and the city lights sparkled below us.

"Thanks for this, Y/n," Regina said, her guard still slightly up but not as impenetrable as before.

"No problem, Regina," I replied, offering a genuine smile. "Sometimes, it's good to take a break from the usual chaos and just... be."

Regina's gaze lingered on the city lights, and I could sense a certain vulnerability in her demeanour. It was as if the walls she had built were momentarily lowered.

"So, what about you, Regina?" I asked, trying to reciprocate her curiosity. "What's your escape from all the chaos?"

She hesitated for a moment, seemingly caught off guard by the question. Then, a faint smile touched her lips, almost as if she found the idea of having an escape amusing.

"I don't know if I have one," she admitted, her gaze still fixed on the city below. "Life has always been about maintaining an image, staying on top. There's never been much room for anything else."

"Maybe you should give it a try," I suggested gently. "Find something that lets you be yourself, even if it's just for a little while. It might surprise you."

Regina glanced at me, a hint of scepticism in her eyes. "You think so?"

I shrugged. "Well, who knows? It worked for me. Music, in all its chaos and beauty, gave me a way to be me, not the person everyone expects me to be."

"You know, Regina," I began, my words tinged with sincerity, "you've got this... luminosity about you tonight. It's like the city lights found a way to highlight a different side of you."

Regina, who was initially taken aback by the unexpected compliment, blinked at me. A subtle pink hue coloured her cheeks, contrasting with the city's cool glow.

"Are you saying I look good?" she quipped, attempting to mask her surprise with a playful tone.

I chuckled, realizing that my words might have strayed into territory uncharted for our dynamic. "Well, yeah. I guess I am. Not that it changes anything, though. You're still Regina George."

I get off the bonnet of the my car room where we were both sat, I scream loud into the vast city.

The city swallowed my scream, blending it into the ambient noises of the night. "what was that for Regina ask confused, try it it will help, I say back, Just shout out Ur issues

Regina raised an eyebrow, a hint of scepticism in her eyes. "Just shout out your issues?"

I nodded, a mischievous glint in my eyes. "Trust me, it's surprisingly therapeutic. Give it a shot."

Regina hesitated for a moment, then let out a half-hearted, "I always have too be fucking perfect"

We both burst into laughter at the unexpected release, the sound echoing against the urban landscape. It was a peculiar scene—two unlikely companions on a rooftop, using the city as their sounding board.

"Your turn," Regina challenged.

I took a deep breath, letting the city's energy seep into my veins. "Complicated feelings"

Regina smirked, realizing the gravity behind my words. "Well, isn't that a loaded confession."

Regina's smirk held a subtle curiosity, and I could sense a shift in the atmosphere. "Yeah, yeah, I know," I replied, my response carrying a hidden layer of meaning. If only she knew that the complicated feelings and unexpected connections I mentioned were intricately woven around her.

I took a moment and then decided to dive into the topic. "So, Regina, now that you're flying solo, any crushes in the picture?" I threw it out casually, hoping for a light response.

Regina's eyes had a mysterious gleam. "Crushes? Well, not crushes per se, but there's someone on my mind."

"alright, spill the tea," I prompted, genuinely intrigued.

Regina's gaze lingered on me, and she smirked with a hint of mischief. "hey you didn't with your but let's just say this person knows how to stir up chaos in my life."

I couldn't help but feel a flutter of anticipation. Was she hinting at me? Or was it just my imagination running wild? "Complicating your life, huh? Sounds like a handful."

Regina chuckled, a genuine warmth in her expression. "Oh, you have no idea."
