...༻❁🝮❁༺... You sat up and rubbed your eyes, you were sure because of last nights activities you slept all day which would explain why the moonlight fell into Madara's room
You saw that someone was sitting outside in silence and you guessed it to be madara so you crawled over to him, your legs were sore from last night and you had trouble walking
"Tsuki?" You called out and you heard a hum, confirming it was indeed madara "You're finally awake, it seems I really did tire you out"
You frowned at him "explain to me why there ended up before five shadow clones" Madara chuckled "well, what can I say? I was excited"
You sat beside madara who didn't have a shirt on, revealing the claw marks on his back and purple bruises all over his body "I take pride in being one of the only people who's managed to leave a mark on the mighty madara uchiha!" You grinned A sigh left Madara's lips and your smile fell upside down, you feared that he had regrets
"Hina" "yes, what it is?" You looked at him with worry "thank you" he simply thanked you for no given reason
"What, why? I didn't do anything?" Madara looked at the flowers that you planted and kept healthy in his courtyard "These flowers, they kept dying before you started taking care of them" "I had even professionals come to see if there was something strange about them, but they said there was nothing. They were just normal flowers that I wasn't able to keep alive"
Something you always wondered was why madara cared so much for these flowers when he could care about so many other things that were much more important
"Under these flowers, is where Izuna was burried. These flowers only started growing a month after his funeral so I guessed his body was the doing"
"It was something I came to care for so I motivated myself to keep those flowers alive, knowing it was the cause of my brother and it will probably be the only thing I have left of him"
He looked at you "but it was only once you started taking care of them that they stayed blooming in all their beauty. I believe it is your presence that keeps my brothers will alive" Your eyes widened, you knew that Madara's little brother meant so much to him and for madara to say that your presence was preserving his brothers will meant the world to you "But these flowers are not the only thing I thank you for"
His eyes landed on your stomach "from here on out, I will only get weaker as I get older. But that wasn't what I grieve over, it was the possibility of me dying alone. With no family, no lover nor a child. It was the end of my story-" he sighed "and even though I was not content with that fact I accepted it"
"And even worse when the time I tried to change that fate came crashing down back onto me when your elder sister had cancelled the marriage"
"When I accepted your sisters marriage I thought of only having a child with her and nothing else. I wanted a child to preserve my legacy"
He looked at you and his gaze softened "but once she cancelled I completely lost all hope and came to the realization that I will die alone. It wasn't until the day I embraced you that everything changed for me"
His pinky finger crossed over yours "you gave me a second chance at life, and even though I spent all my time until now murdering people and staining my hands with their blood you still accepted me as your husband and lifetime partner"
You interlocked your fingers with his and stared at him in awe "But a second chance at life... I believe it is not something I think of when I think of you, it is only something you have given me. It pays no matter if you fall pregnant with my child or not because I believe that dying with you will be more than enough for me"
"I need only you in this cursed world to find peace, only you and no one else." You smiled sweetly at him as tears fell from your eyes
"And if you do end up bearing my child then as a father and as a husband I will do my best to keep our family together for as long as I live and even after my death. I... I do not show affection often and I best believe that I don't think I'll be able to show that to anyone but you but for that reason I wish that no matter what, the children we might have in the future know that I truly do care for them"
You practically pounced onto him as you pulled his head into your chest and wrapped your arms around him "I know you can't say it back yet but I love you Madara, more than anything... I truly, genuinely love you so much"
Madara sighed and stayed limp in your embrace "Our future children, I will tell them. Tell them for you that you love them, it's not something you have to worry about because whatever you might not be able to do I will do for you."
"I take pride in being the lady of the uchiha clan, your wife and the mother of your children. Whatever might relate to you, I take pride in"
Madara closed his eyes and felt himself greet sleep with a smile on his lips
You chuckled softly and pressed a kiss to his head "And you know what I find funny? How the heart inside of me keeps me alive yet it belongs to you, my heart belong to you. Madara uchiha, I love you oh so dearly and for eternity that we will stay together" you whispered
