[three months earlier]

The kids were slowly starting to get used to their mother's absence, they had eachother and their friends after all. They still had their aunts and uncles to help them around

But Madara uchiha on the other hand, you would think he didn't care of her absence but he does. It is just that no one is able to notice such a thing now that she is gone

He sits in the middle of an empty room, the rooms floor and walls was stained with ink and paint. There was crumbled up papers everywhere and canvas that stood everywhere that had support

On every single canvas, they had atleast three colours in common. The skin tone of his wife, the colour of her eyes and the colour of her hair

He had painted his missing wife so often that it became a talent. Often he would paint her with a few of the flowers she grew in their garden. Maybe so he would paint her with their bunnies or, maybe paint her with their children

Madara felt movement on his lap so he looked down and saw the small fluffy animal resting on his lap, it was the white bunny. her, white bunny.

He lifted his hand and caressed the animal with the utmost care he could muster with his hands stained with cruelty. The animal was soft, delicate, like a glass vase. Anything could break it, he could break it at any moment. But it was her glass vase, her glass vase that she loved

"Do you long for her presence as well?" He asks the animal

Madara was a man of few words, he was quiet and didn't speak much often to people. Even his childhood friend; noya he spoke small words too. The only person he would engage in full conversation was now missing.

After hashirama death, everything changed. Tobirama had become hokage and the village fell silent for a few months. There was a mood no one could describe looming around the village

And soon after, Tobirama had passed away as well. And something that shocked the whole village was that Madara attended the funeral before anyone else. They all knew Tobirama hated the uchiha and they also knew that Madara disliked Tobirama as well. But they also knew that Madara attended the funeral out of the short respect he had for the man.

He was his wife's elder brother after all, and she wasn't there so he attended for her.

Madara sighed

It felt as if wires were wrapped around his throat out of a sudden and he struggled to even breathe correctly, without his voice wavering
