Tired (Annabeth)

Percy's POV
I was joking around with Jason as I walk into the dining pavilion for dinner. We part ways as we both sit down at our tables, and Annabeth's lack of presence doesn't go unnoticed. She's been on Olympus all day, and I really miss her. Since she's become the architect of Olympus she hasn't been around as much and I'm starting to miss her a lot more. Don't judge me, I just love her so much.

I was eating my food when the Athena table started welcoming someone back. I look up to see a very tired looking Annabeth and I smile. She ignores her siblings and groggily walked over to me. I move my arms and she climbs into my lap before resting her head on my shoulder. I wrap my arms tightly around her and she lets out a tired sigh.

"Hi, beautiful." I murmur and she mumbles something

I move my arms and lightly take her head in my hands. I move my thumb across her cheek and she looks at my with exhaustion. I smile at her and lightly kiss her earning a smile but it quickly fades.

"You okay?" I ask

"Mhm." She hums tiredly, "Long day."

"I'm sorry, baby. Let me finish eating then we can go to my cabin, yeah?" I ask and she slowly nods

I pull her back into me and she rests her head back on my shoulder. I tightly wrap one of my arms around her as the other goes down to my food. I run my hand up and down her back as I eat and she sighs contentedly. I quickly finish eating and turn my attention back to Annabeth.

"You ready?" I ask

"Can you carry me?" She asks

"Of course, my love." I say

She wraps her arms around my neck and my hand go to the underside of her thighs. Her legs are tightly wrapped around my body as I stand up. I walk back to my cabin and gently place her on the bed and stand up to go change.

"Wait, come back." She says reaching out to me

"I have to change, wise girl. Give me one minute okay?" I ask

"Fine." She says and it's silent for a second, "Can I have one of your hoodies?"

"Sure." I say

I change into a pair of sweatpants and get a hoodie for Annabeth. I make sure it'll be big on her because I know she loves that. Considering she steals all of them. I go and take off her shoes and jeans before putting her in my hoodie. I climb into bed next to her and she immediately puts her body over mine clinging on for dear life.

I wrap my arms around her and bury my head in the crook of her neck before placing chaste kisses all over it. My hands move over her back as she slips into sleep with me following after her.
