A/N: Get ready for a cute Valentine's Day One Shot, because yes, I'm aware that I already wrote one, but that was when I first published this book back in June of last year. So now, here's a new one to help spread the Sonadow love.

Happy Valentine's Day!

"No, no, no! What am I thinking?! Shadow won't like this!" Sonic muttered irritably, as he tugged at his already disheveled quills with a groan before crumbling up yet another piece of paper with a scrapped idea written on it. "Come on! Think about what could impress The Ultimate Lifeform. There has to be something!"

It was February 13th, and Sonic was feeling stressed out beyond belief since the following day was Valentine's Day, and he wanted to do something special for his boyfriend.

The only problem was, he didn't know what. So that was why he was currently in his room, desperately trying to come up with plans to surprise Shadow with.

After all, he and Shadow weren't the most normal couple out there, seeing as they were Mobian hedgehog speedsters, and heroes. Plus, neither of them were really into stereotypical dates, and romance.

But even so, it was still obvious to anyone who saw them, how much they both meant to each other, and this would be the fourth year that they were together. In Sonic's opinion, that meant that whatever they did, it had to be extremely special.

"Ugh, why does this have to be so difficult?!" Sonic kicked the wall in frustration. "Maybe I should just ask him out for a movie date or something. That would simplify things at least..."

"Yeah, but it would also make Shadow think you're unoriginal." The familiar voice of Rouge spoke up from behind Sonic, and he whirled around to face the bat with a frown. Immediately seeing Tails standing next to her as well.

"Can you not?" Sonic sighed heavily, and flopped down on his bed. "Seriously, Rouge, I'm not in the mood for your comments. It's not helping anything."

"But she's right, you know." Tails spoke up quietly, and went to sit on the bed next to his brother. "This will be yours and Shadow's fourth Valentine's Day together, and you need to make him feel special. He is special to you, right?"

Sonic sat bolt upright after hearing Tails' question, and glared at him half-heartedly.

"What kind of a question is that? Of course Shadow is special to me!" Sonic exclaimed, sounding more irritated than he meant to. "That's why I'm so stressed. What can I do for him that will show him he's my world? How can I let him know of the impact he's had on me just by being in my life?"

Tails and Rouge looked at each other with knowing smiles before Tails then spoke up.

"Well, there is one idea that could work." He stated, grinning from ear to ear, as he leaned in to whisper the idea to Sonic.

And the instant the blue hedgehog heard the plan, he jumped up from the bed in the blink of an eye, and pulled the little Kitsune into a tight hug.

"Oh my gosh, Tails! You are a genius!" He laughed happily, no longer feeling stressed out.

"Heh, I know." Tails chuckled softly, and hugged Sonic back just as tightly. "But I'm always happy to help you, Sonic. You know that."

"Yeah, I do." Sonic smiled fondly at his brother, as he set him back down, and playfully ruffled his fur. "But what do you think Shadow will say? I want this to be a total surprise, and hopefully, have things turn out well."

"And it will." Rouge replied, smirking, as she leaned against the door frame. "Just tell him that you want to race, and he will follow you in a heartbeat. Trust me, Big Blue. He'll love this!"
