"This place is beautiful!" We walk through the town, every person we past would bow their heads. "Why do they keep bowing?" Knight smiles. "I'm the king of dragons and you baby, are the princess of dragons." Jaime gets between us. "Can you not call her baby? It's weird." Knight frowns at him. "What's weird is a human being mates to my sister, she should be with someone that's stronger and powerful." Jaime stands in front of him. "I am strong, stronger than you." Knight laughs aggressively turning Jaime around. "Of course you are when you have khaji da stuck to your back." Jaime shoves him off. "You know about khaji da?" We continue our walk. "Of course we do, dragons are powerful beings. We protect space and time, we have the knowledge of everything from demons, gods, aliens you name it. We protect human from all this things and guard ancient relics, portals and dimensions from humans and other beings. Believe it or not, dragons are peaceful creatures, as you can tell, we don't fight unless we have too and we're not killers it's a rule amongst dragons to protect and others." I look up at him worried. "Wh-why is that?" I already killed someone but, I never knew how to control myself. "Because, the taste of blood awakens our dragons true nature. When you kill once you will kill again, you will hunt and harm like our ancestors used too. You become aggressive." Jaime looks at me worried and I speak up. "I killed someone already, a long time ago, I was attacked and of course I didn't have control and I blacked out. When I woke up I was covered in blood." He hums. "What else happened after that?" I look away. "I attacked my friend, luckily my brother Jon saved her." Knight stiffens. "Brother? You have another brother?" I nod. "He's my adopted brother." He hums. "I see." He grabs my hand. "Kn-knight?" He moves in closer burying his face into my neck sniffing. "Woah, what the fuck are you doing?" Knight's friends hold Jaime back." He licks my neck gently. "What the fuck!" Jaime yells but Knight ignores him. "Kn-Knight! What are you doing?" He pulls away looking into my eyes before pressing his lips against mine. "That's your fucking sister!" My eyes widen as his tongue slips into my mouth after a few minutes he pulls away. He kiss my forehead and we continue walking hand in hand. I look back at Jaime speechless, he just shrugs but also looks pissed. Knight licks his lips smirking. "What's with your brothers wanting to fuck you?!" I shrug blushing. "It's not unusual for dragon siblings to become mates but, it doesn't happen often." Jaime hums. "I wonder why." He grumbles and I giggle. "I was hoping when I found her I would mate with her and make her mine. But, it looks like a human beat me to it." He sneers. "Maybe if you didn't abandon her-" I'm startled by Knight's out burst. "I DIDNT ABANDON HER!" Jaime backs away. "My bad bro." Knight stops in front of a beautiful home. "Welcome to my home, our home." He opens the door and it's beautiful, the walls are white and have beautiful white, gray and black furniture. "Let me show you to our room, Jax, please show where Jaime will be staying." Jaime scoffs. "You are not sleeping with my mate!" Knight growls. "Ex mate you will no longer be her mate." I shake my head. "I thought once you choose a mate you're mates for life." He smiles taking my hand. "Yes and no, the mate can be broken if you let someone else mark you causing the old mark to disappear. I'm surprised a human was able to mark you in the first place." Jaime takes my hand pulling me away from him. "She is not going with you." With a sly cheeky smirk Knight speaks in Spanish to Jaime and Jaime speaks right back at him. Their conversation seems to be getting intense and whatever Jaime said pissed him off. His eyes glow red as he growls loud and deeply but, Jaime doesn't back down at his intimidation. "Jaime, Knight, stop!" They ignore me. "I will stay with Knight." I blurt out. They look at me, his stop glowing and he smiles. "Really?" I nod. "If it means the two of you will stop fighting. Jaime I made my choice, please don't be mad." He caress my cheek. "I could never be mad at you. Please be careful around this idiot." I nod. He kiss me gently and pull away giving Knight one last glance before being led to the guest bedroom. Knight takes my hand leading me upstairs to his room. He opens the door to a black and grey room. It's beautiful and it smells like lavender and rain. I let go of his hand and walk around the room, he gently grabs my tail letting coil around his hand and release. I look back at him with a light blush and he smirks. "Why do you want to mate with me? Why can't I choose my own mate dragon or not?" He folds his arms over his chest. A puff of smoke escape his nostrils, his green eyes bore into mine and I look away. "I'm not trying to sound rude or start up any trouble." My ears go back when he lifts my chin with a smile. "It's simple I don't want any other man touching my beautiful litter sister but me. You're a powerful dragon and people will use you for that, especially humans like your adopted family and that Jaime boy." I shake my head. "My adopted family is different, my father and brother are aliens. Well, my brother is half alien since our mother is human." He growls his ears go back. "They are not your family, I am." He says calmly in a low growl. I back away, scarred. His soften and he sighs. "I'm sorry baby, I didn't mean to scare you. It's just, they're not your real family, I'm your family, remember that." I look away then back at him. "Then why was I-" he cuts me off. "We didn't abandon you!" He groans then sighs. "Ok, let's start from the beginning."
