CHAPTER 11 PICTURE ABHI BAAKI HAI MERE DOST-I

While Rohan was meeting his father, the communications room had been a buzz of activity. Both the teams were on run chases at separate times.

Daya's team had reached Malaad within the hour. As they had started searching the lab, they found some suspicious documents indicating ongoing malpractices. They were just about to ask for the owner to come to the lab, when suddenly people in the lab opened fire on them. This definitely incriminated them but the CID team had to seek shelter for themselves. In all this melee, Shreya spotted Surbhi escaping. The team managed to subdue the rest of the people.

"Batao, Surbhi ka main office kahaan hai", Daya screamed at one of the lab attendants.

"Mujhe nahin pata sir. Hamaari koi galti nahin hai. Hum yahaan sirf kaam karte hai aur humein us kaam ke paise milte hain", said the scared-looking guy,

"Agar tumhein force kia jaa bhi rahaa tha toh tum humein ya police ko bata sakte the. Par nahin, tum logon ko toh paise ki padi thi na! Ab batao mujhe uske main office ki location!", Daya reiterated, getting angry.

When he refused, Daya couldn't control. "Tum aise nahin maanoge. Laaton ke bhoot baaton se nahin maante.." and Thaaak! (and everybody knows what that was for..)

"Sir please, rukiye. main bataataa hun!".

Once, they got to know the location, they asked the police team in the area to keep an eye out. They did not have the authority to arrest her and did not want to arouse her suspicions, so, they let her go and followed her at a close distance. Her main office was at the outskirts of the city in an abandoned factory. She got out in a hurry, it looked as if she was rushing to come back out. The police informed the CID team of her location and quietly placed a tracker on her car. The CID team instructed them to back away as they wanted to arrest her themselves with evidence. She had a black duffel bag slung on her shoulder when she rushed out.

The tracker got activated as she drove out with her possessions. She was going along the coastline and it looked like she intended to cross the state borders.
Ishita was guiding the CID team continuously with her location. As they followed her in a rapid-action chase, she did not stop her car for even a second and concentrated on fooling the CID officers following her whom she had spotted as they were closing in on her.

But it was of no use! Shreya driving bravely and dangerously close to her vehicle, shot her on the arm while still controlling the steering wheel with one hand. Her vehicle swerved and stopped and they were able to catch her swiftly.

"Sir, humne Surbhi ko pakad liya hai. Uske pass bag aur kuch documents bhi baramad hue hain", Daya informed ACP Pradyuman.

"Very good Daya and the team! Use lekar turant office pahuncho".

"Ji Sir, hum aa rahe hain. Traffic nahin hai toh ETA 1:30 am hai".

"Okay Daya. Hum interrogation room ready karvaate hain".

Meanwhile, the second team had reached Nashik as well. They were able to find the culprit but he also ran from the scene. This proved that he was the culprit but the CID team had to chase after him as is the case with most wanted criminals. Again, Ishita's tracking skills helped them a lot as Abhijeet had managed to place the device on his clothes while struggling with him.

"Sir, humne Sanjay ko pakad liya hai. Bhaagne ki koshish ki thi isne par Fredricks aur Nikhil ne ise dhar dabocha".

"Theek hai. Phir jab tum ise yahaan lao toh iska nurse ka get-up karva dena interrogation room me laane se pehle. Nikhil ne kuch confirm kiya uske baare mein? Get-up ke bagaair CCTV footage mein usi ne dekha tha na?"
