Chapter 16 - It's More Fun In The Philippines

Chapter 16

Jillian's POV

Today is the day that we've all been waiting for. Today we'll be leaving London to meet up with the lads in the Philippines. We'll make sure to enjoy every second with them while it last.

"Jill, ready to go?" Maureen asked me.

"Ready!"

"Everyone's ready!" Natalie said. You could hear the excitement in her voice.

"Then what are we waiting for? Let's go!" Danielle said.

We asked our good friend Karl to drive us to the airport.

"What do you guys think'll be their reactions when they see us?" Danielle asked.

"I don't know... Sad?" Perrie said sarcastically.

"Perrie did you drink your morning tea today? Sarcastic Perrie's getting the best of you again." Maureen said giggling.

"Haha good thing I love you. If not, I might've punched you."

"This is what we call Girl Love" Natalie whispered. I just giggled. "Alright enough you two. This might escalate into something worse." I said breaking up their conversation that might end up as a fight.

The rest of the drive to the airport was pure silence.

When we got to the airport, Natalie practically jumped out of the car and ran in. "Thanks for the help bringing in the luggage!" Maureen shouted towards Natalie.

"Don't mind her. She's just excited to see her Nialler. I was just like her when I first visited Liam on tour." Danielle said.

"That's everything!" Karl said.

"Thanks Karl!" I said.

"No problem! Have a safe trip you girls!"

"Thanks!" We all said in unison.

We went straight to the check-in counter to check-in our luggage.

"Starbucks anyone? I need coffee in my system." Danielle said.

"I'm coming with ya." Perrie said.

"We're coming with you." Maureen, Natalie, and I said. We bought our coffees then went to our assigned gate.

We found some seats to sit on near our gate.

"It's my first time in the Philippines. Natalie, you went there once right? What should we expect?" Perrie asked her.

"Well, all I can say is expect the unexpected. But I'll really make sure we get to eat the authentic Filipino food like Kare Kare, Adobo, Sinigang, Bicol Express, Isaw, Quek Quek, and my favorite..... BALOT!"

"That's a lot of food." I said.

"Well, what do you expect? She is Niall's girlfriend after all." Maureen said.

"True." Danielle and Perrie said in unison.

"OH MY GEEEEE!!!!" a shout called.

We all looked at our right and saw a mother chasing her daughter that was running towards our direction.

"Oh my geee... You guys are the 1D girlfriends! Can I get a picture with you girls? You girls are so pretty in person! I totally ship all of you with the lads!" The young girl said when she got to us.

**Margaux is pronounced as "Margoe".

"Margaux! Come back here right now!" The mother said. "I'm so sorry for the bother girls, she's just really a huge One Direction fan." She continued.

"Oh that's ok. So your name's Margaux? I love that name!" Maureen said.

"Margaux, you said you wanted a picture? Come here sweetie and let's take that picture." I said. Margaux's eyes widen in excitement.

"Thank you!" She said sweetly. Her mother took the picture and we also signed some autographs for her.

"Thank you so much girls." The mother said.

"No problem." Danielle said.

"Girls, can I ask for a favor?" Margaux said.

"We'll try our best." Perrie said.

"Take care of the lads for me and for the other fans that care. They make us happy and you guys make them happy. Please promise me you'll make them happy every second of every day." She said with tears slowly dropping. Me and girls also have tears in our eyes. I bent down to her eye level.

"You don't have to ask us that Margaux. That's our jobs as their girlfriends. And you don't have to worry about them. I know these girls. They love the lads more than they love themselves. I love Louis with every fiber in my body."

"Thank you!" She hugged me. I hugged her back.

"Group hug!" Natalie shouted. The girls joined in.

"Attention... All passengers in Flight 313 off to Manila, Philippines is now boarding at Gate 1."

"Well Margaux, that's our flight. We'll just tell the lads you said hi." Perrie said.

"Oh ok. Thank you! Have a safe trip girls! Bye!"

"Thanks! Bye!" We said in unison.

We boarded the plane and got seated. I sat in between Natalie and Maureen while Danielle and Perrie sat in the next row.

"Boys.... Get ready cause here comes the girls!" Natalie said.

They say that "It's More Fun In The Philippines."

I sure hope so.

The answer's simple...

I'm a Filipina! (And I was just too lazy to research about other countries so I used my own.) :)

I'm sorry about the food part.... I was just really hungry while writing that part. 🍴

If your curious... The food that I listed above are my favorite Filipino foods.

If you visit the Philippines, I dare you to eat Isaw, Quek Quek, and Balot. (Comment if you have.)

Isaw are grilled Chicken intestines. Quek Quek are quail eggs. And the most famous Balot (Zac Efron, Joe Jonas, and the lead singer of The Script loved Balot!) is an egg with a baby chick inside. You drink the soup first before you eat the chick itself.

For those who haven't visited the Philippines, I hope you guys find the time to visit the Philippines.

Anyways... Enough with food and the Philippines.
