Chapter 48 - Broken

Chapter 48

Louis's POV

Ever since the wedding, we asked Eleanor to come and live with us until the baby was born. I still can't believe that Eleanor was living with me and my "wife" in the house where Jill and I were planning on growing old together on. 

It was kinda weird at first, living with my "wife" and my ex. It was awkward at first. We would eat dinner silently at the dining table. We took turns in cooking dinner and doing the dishes. 

Jillian and I learned to live with her. Surprisingly, Jillian and Eleanor became friends after a few weeks only. Jillian has been helping El in coping with the usual morning sickness. 

"Louis! i'm just gonna have a quick go to the store to get some Cookie Butter and some pickles."

Cookie Butter and pickles?

"Weird combo. Let me guess... El?" 

"Yep." 

"Do you want me to go with you?" 

"No need... just keep an eye on El. Ok?" 

"Yeah. I can do that." 

"Ok. Bye."

A FEW MONTHS LATER

Louis's POV

Jillian just left for work about 5 minutes ago. Her "bitchy" boss said that she was needed at the office asap and she didn't have a choice but to go. 

"Lou? Can we talk?" I heard El from behind.

"Yeah of course." 

"I just want to say... thank you." she said bowing her head down.

"Thank you for what?" 

"Well... I've been pregnant for about 4 months now.. and you never left us. Thank you." 

"It's nothing. I am the father after all." 

 "No you don't get the point. I'm thankful that you're my child's father. Even though you were about to start your own family, you're still here being the good father you are."

"That child is my responsibility. I -" I was cut off by Eleanor pressing her lips to mine.

"I'm sorry I left my - WHAT THE HELL?! " we heard Jillian's voice. OH SHIT! We both separated and just stared shockingly at Jillian.

"Jill.. we're - " we both said in unison.

"NO! Let's stop this shit once and for all! I'm sick of being the victim! Aren't you both tired of hurting me?"

"No Jillian it wasn't Louis's fault! I kissed him!" Eleanor said, now starting to get near Jillian. 

"YOU! I let you stay in MY house! I treated you like my best friend! I helped you through these pass few months and what do you do? Kissing my husband? How could you?" 

"Jill I -" 

"NO! Stop it El! i don't want to hear it." 

"Jillian let's talk, please."  I begged her, grabbing her arm

"AND YOU! Isn't it enough that you got your ex pregnant? Isn't it enough?!" she said shrugging my hands off her.

"I'm sorry! It was never my intention -"

"Never your intention? And what are you doing now? Isn't this hurting me?"

"Jill-"

"I want a divorce." 

As I heard her say that, my whole world came crashing down. 

She wants a divorce.

YEY!!! Happy birthday to me!!!

This is gonna be my last update for a little while. Exams are coming up and i need to "F-O-C-U-S" cause I have a lot to study. 

Hopefully I'll update on the 14th.
