Chapter 43 - Fight

Chapter 43

Louis's POV

What have I done? I just got married and now we're on the verge of getting a divorce. How did this day get from being the best day to the worst? 

"Louis!" I heard El call for me. This just made me burst out all my anger.

"Are you happy now? This was what you've been wanting for a long time now right?" I shouted towards her. Her face turned from worried to scared. 

"This WAS what I wanted before but not now." She said looking at the floor.

"What do you mean?" I asked dumbfounded. 

"I met someone about three months ago. I was just here to greet you both congratulations and if I had the chance, tell you about the baby. Believe it or not, I'm over you. Thanks to Johan. I never meant to do it today but I just had to tell you before I tell Nathan." She said with tears starting to appear. 

"What about the thing you told me about getting the ring from Jillian a while ago?" I'm still confused.

"It was a joke. I was just messing with you. You took it too seriously.”

“Now how will I fix this?” I panicked.

“Don’t worry Lou, I’ll talk to Jillian for you.” I was about to say something when I heard Harry’s voice from behind.

"Louis, Liam is on his way up and he is not happy!" he warned. He saw Eleanor beside me and his eyes turned from his green eyes to black. 

“What is SHE doing here?” I was about to answer when I heard a shout behind Harry. 

“Louis William Tomlinson!” 

Oh no… Liam. 

“Liam, where’s your sister?” I asked while walking towards him but that was a huge mistake. He took me by my collar and punched my jaw really hard. 

“What did I tell you about hurting my sister?!” Another punch. 

“Liam stop it!” Harry tried pulling Liam away from me but Liam was too strong for him. He just fell on his butt. 

After a couple more punches, Liam grew tired and just sat beside my beaten up body and started to cry. I sat up even though it hurts and tried to comfort Liam but he pushed me away. 

“I trusted you to take care of my sister. I fucking trusted you! Why would you ruin that trust?” Liam asked. 

“I never meant to hurt her Li. I was just thinking with my dick those day. Believe me or not, I really love your sister with all my heart. It was never my intention to hurt her. I never meant to turn this day around. I’m really sorry mate. i’m so so sorry Liam.” I was now crying my eyes out. 

"So, what will happen to the both of you?" Liam asked wiping his tear stained cheeks with the back of his hand. I didn't notice that both Harry and Eleanor left.

"I don't know. I hope she can forgive me. I can't live without her. She knows that, you know that." 

"I still can't believe you did that to my little sister." He said.

"So do I." There was an awkward silence but then I remembered. 

'Where's Jillian now?" I asked.

"She's in my room crying her eyes out." Liam said. "You should go there now before she thinks that you don't care." 

"Wait, does this mean?" 

"Yes, I forgive you. I can see that you really regret what you did. But it's not my forgiveness that matters here."

"Thanks mate." 

"No problem. Just, go. Get her back. I would rather you be her wife that some douchbag from somewhere." 

With that, I went down the elevator to get to Liam's floor.
