Chapter 24 - Niall's Time To Shine

Chapter 24

Niall's POV

Today is the day! Today, I'm finally gonna propose to Natalie, my one and only Princess.

"Ready lad?" Liam said patting my back.

"It's on... Like Donky Kong!" I answered him.

"Hey! That's my line!"

"Sorry. It suited my situation better." Liam started pouting.

"Aww.. You're so cute when you pout." I pinched his cheek.

"NIAM!" Zayn shouted out of nowhere.

"Awkward... Anyways...Good luck Ni." Liam said.

"Thanks Li."

"Guys, does the ladies know about what's gonna happen tonight?" I asked them.

"Yep, we told them a while ago while Natalie was sleeping." Harry said.

"So she still doesn't know?" I asked.

"Nope. We're still safe."

"Good!"

Natalie's POV

I was having my beauty sleep when my phone dinged.

From : My Irish Leppy <3

Meet me by the beach tonight @ 7. I have something to tell you.

No smiley? Oh no! This is my worst nightmare.

Why??? Is there a problem??? What's wrong???

Everything's fine. You don't have to worry about anything. Just meet me later. Ok? :)

Ok... What am I suppose to wear?

Look for Jillian. I gave her a package. I hope you like it. :)

I went out of my room to go look for Jillian.

"Dani, have you seen Jill?"

"Oh... Yeah she's in her and Louis's room."

"Ok thanks." I went to their room and knocked. (totally learned from Maureen's mistake) Jillian opened the door and saw me.

"Hi Jill. Niall said to come and look for you cause he gave you a package for me?"

"Oh yeah. Here it is." She gave me a white box. I opened it and saw a pink sundress.

"Wow!" I said as I examined the dress with my mouth open.

"That's really cute!"

"I know right?!" We both freaked out about the dress. She really is my bestfriend when it gets to fashion.

"Anyways... Thanks Jill!"

"No prob!"

I went back to our room to get ready. It was only 4:30 so I still have a lot of time to get ready.

I took a shower then put on the sundress. It stopped just right after my knee. I matched it with my light cardigan cause it was chilly outside. I wore my white sandals. I tied my hair in a neat bun. By the time I was done it was already 6:50. I quickly went downstairs and was met by Liam and Zayn in tuxes.

"Hello Ms. Natalie Bradshaw. Mr. Horan's waiting for you by the ocean." Liam said.

"What's going on guys?"

"Just go with it." Zayn whispered in my ear.

"Right this way Ms. Bradshaw."

They both led me to where Niall was supposed to be. I was shocked to find a table for two set by the beach. Someone covered my eyes.

"Hello love." The familiar Irish accent whispered in my ear. I turned around and hugged him.

"What's this all about?"

"Well... I want to do something special for you." As he said that, Louis came out of nowhere wearing a tux similar to Zayn's and Liam's and gave Niall his guitar. The other lads came out and stood backup. Niall started playing the chords to "Little Things". In between the song I got teary-eyed, he was so damn sweet!

After they sang the whole song I ran to Niall and hugged him tightly. He let go and gave the guitar back to Louis. He fished through his pocket and got out a velvet box. My eyes widen. Then, he started getting down on one knee. I opened my eyes wider if that was even possible.

"Natalie Regina Bradshaw, we've been together for a year and a half now. You've been beside me through all the rumors, the fame, the stress, etc. You deal with me and my attitude every single day and trust me, I know how hard that is with the stories I hear from the lads. So, princess...will you do the honors of becoming my queen?" Niall said looking at me with his cute puppy eyes.

"Say yes!" The girls, as well as the boys, shouted. I was to focused on Niall that I didn't even notice the girls behind me.

"Yes! Yes yes yes! A million yes!"

"Yes! She said yes!" He hugged me and gave me a long passionate kiss on the lips.

So, all this time that he was acting distant and with me thinking that he was gonna break up with me... He was planning all this?! WOW!!!

BEST. DAY. EVER!

Jillian's POV

"Yes! She said yes!" Niall said. You can really see the happiness in his eyes.

Louis stood beside me.

"Babe is there something wrong?" He asked.

"No I'm good." I said.

'Yes! There is something wrong! Why are you so distant lately? It's not like you're planning a proposal.' I thought to myself.

"You sure?" He asked.

"I'm sure." He snaked an arm on my waist and pulled me closer to him.

He's been distant to me ever since I got here. But then, he'll go and treat me like a princess again.

What's going on?! What's the problem?? Is he gonna break up with me? Hope not.
