December 1st:

- Billie's pov -

In the last few days, I have been super stressed trying to organize an advent calendar for Lisa, too. Coming up with 24 gifts is hard, even if you know somebody well.

I didn't want her to miss out since she had told me how much she loved having one as a kid, so I decided to make one for her, too.

I may have gone a little overboard with the presents. I knew she would complain about them being too expensive, but I didn't care. Also, I didn't think about how it might have been stupid to purchase items that were too big to put in paper bags. I realized that too late, though.

I had to put a few of the things I got for her as pictures and leave them at my place. At least I was smart enough to make sure that all the small stuff was included on the days when I was gone for the U.S.

The advent calendar included jewelry, loads of LEGO sets, a new iPhone, and a noodle maker, but I also tried to include cute personal stuff like love letters or little drawings I did of her so she couldn't complain about the cost too much.

I put all the little paper bags into a Christmas box and brought them with me when I went to her place that day. She was so happy to receive them, and watching her be so thrilled about them was adorable. I also brought along sushi for us to eat. But I didn't stay over because she went out with her best guy friend to celebrate her early birthday.

I offered to pick her up later, but that was unnecessary as they spent the whole evening at a bar, only five minutes away from her place. I still made her call me when she was home to ensure she was safe.

She was a little tipsy, but I found it very cute. Throughout the call, she repeatedly told me how she wanted to tell her friend we were dating so badly, especially once she was a little drunk, and it was tough for her to keep it a secret. I continuously reminded her that we really shouldn't be telling anyone. I must have told her that at least 40 times since we started dating.

None of her friends knew about us except Max, who signed the NDA; Elias, who was chill enough to keep it a secret; and her best friend Hannah, whom she obviously trusted enough. I wanted to keep it that way. One day, it would probably come out anyway, and I already knew she would prefer going back to being secretive once that day arrived.

December 3rd:

-Billie's pov-

I heard my alarm go off at 7 a.m. I quickly turned it off and saw Lisa was already awake.

"It's your birthday, love—happy, Happy Birthday. I love you so much," I said, hugging her tightly and planting kisses all over her face. I love you so so so much." I clenched onto her.

"Thank you, Bobby. I love you, too. Did you set the alarm just to say Happy Birthday?"

"Yes, I wanted to be the first to wish you a Happy Birthday," I said, burying my face into her chest and closing my eyes. It was too early, and I was still super sleepy.

"Cute. And now you go back to sleep?"

"Nooo, just 5 minutes of relaxing with my love."

"How about we have sex?"

She didn't have to tell me that twice.

"Sleep is for the weak, you know," I shouted.

I sat up and pulled her closer to me.

"So, after four months of dating, I finally found a way to get you out of bed in the morning," she commented, giggling.

"You live, and you learn."
