November 7th:
-Lisa's pov-
The next day, I woke up with a slight headache from the previous prosecco.
Was it worth it, though? Absolutely.
I just lay there like an idiot, watching Billie sleep. I loved this girl more than anything, and watching her sleep was the most enjoyable thing for me to do.
She didn't seem to wake up anytime soon, so I decided not to waste any time and went on a run with Shark.
We became very close over the past few weeks. He always got so excited whenever he saw me put on my running shoes because he loved going on runs with me.
After we returned, I showered and hopped back into bed with Billie. Her sleeping schedule was already messed up, but it was even worse now that she had just returned from abroad a few days ago.
I snuggled up to her and caressed her for over half an hour. Whenever I stopped, she would start moving her body and tell me to keep going.
"I'm going to head downstairs and make breakfast, Bobby. Do you want some, too?"
"What are you making?" she asked, her voice husky.
"Açaí bowl."
"Yeah, please."---
When I was nearly done preparing the food, she finally came downstairs.
"Good morning, love."
"You're such a sleepyhead. We already went for a run."
"Damn, you're so motivated," she said, scratching her head.
My phone rang, and it was my mom. I answered. She told me that she and my dad would be coming to town to visit the stock exchange and wanted to have dinner with us.
They told me they had booked a table at their favorite restaurant in the city center.
"Billie, my parents are coming to town today. Are you free for dinner with them?"
"I know. I've already agreed."
"How do you know?"
"Your dad texted me and invited me."
"Sucker for love," I said, rolling my eyes. "So, you would have gone even if I hadn't had time?"
"Probably yes, your parents are so nice," she smiled.
---
I spent the rest of the day working on my university projects at Billie's. It was exhausting because she was good at distracting me, showing me random stuff on her phone, or singing in the living room. I loved her, but she could be annoying whenever I had to focus on work.
We got ready together around 4 p.m. because our dinner reservation at the restaurant was at 5:30. My parents had offered to pick us up from Billie's place, and they arrived at 5 o'clock.
My mom brought Billie flowers and vegan chocolates, while my dad bought her a phone mount (?) for her E-Tron. Cute, but why were they kissing her ass so much?
My dad and Billie found it incredibly cool that they were now driving the same car. The only difference was that Billie had the red interior package, and he had the carbon one. They pointed that out four times.
They even took pictures of the two cars side by side. It felt like being with a pair of 17-year-old boys showing off their first car, which their dad bought them. Except they both worked hard for it, so who am I to judge?
