February 3rd:

-Lisa's pov-

Billie brought me back to the hotel where we were staying, and on the way, we picked up coffee and fresh bagels for Hannah.

She even escorted me to the room so she could help me explain to Hannah why we left and apologize for leaving her alone the day before.

Upon entering the room, we found Hannah still in bed, naked under her blanket, scrolling on her phone.

"Hi," I greeted her.

"Billie, what are you doing here?" Hannah asked, pissy once she saw her.

"Look, Hannah, I know you are not happy to see me, but I..." Billie started, but a man emerged from the bathroom wearing only a towel around his hips before she could finish.

"Timothy, what? You here?" Billie exclaimed, puzzled.

I couldn't help but stifle a laugh at the somewhat awkward situation.

"Hi, guys," Timothy greeted us nonchalantly. "You feeling better, Lisa?" he asked me with a smile.

"Yes, much better," I replied, embracing Billie from the side.

"Here we go again," Hannah remarked ironically. "L.A. is so big, we'd never run into Billie," she mocked me, although I knew she was happy for me deep down.

"I'm actually really glad you guys crashed my party," Billie said, smiling at Hannah.

"Yeah, giving you another chance to completly fuck up my best friend. Love it," Hannah snapped at her.

"Not to be rude, but I need to get changed real quick," Timothy mentioned, still standing in his towel.

Billie and I left the hotel room, waiting in the lobby for them.

"She hates me," Billie said to me in the lobby.

"I mean, I'm kinda the same way if someone treats her badly, so I get it."

"Yeah, I get it, too, but I don't want her to hate me," Billie said.

"She'll be alright after some time. We can just be happy Timothy is there because I think she would have actually started fighting you if he wasn't there," I laughed.

After about 20 minutes and probably another round, they came downstairs.

I hugged Hannah tightly, hoping she wasn't upset with me, but it kinda seemed like she was.

"You are so stupid, Lisa. Honestly. Getting back together with her will only cure the pain temporarily," she whispered into my ears.

"Who said we are getting back together, though?"

She just furrowed her eyebrows at me.

Billie left us to meet Lulu to debrief her after-party.

We spent the rest of the day together with Timothy. Hannah and I went to watch a musical before embarking on our road trip the following day. Timothy spontaneously decided to join us, as he and Hannah couldn't keep their hands off each other. The trip was lovely, but Billie was right: I didn't like Palm Springs.

Although apart during the trip, Billie and I often texted quite a lot again. I felt like a fucking teenager in love for the first time again.
