October 25th:
-Lisa's pov-
Billie and Finneas have been working a lot that week. I visited them on Wednesday after university and Friday after work, but they were busy with their album. On Tuesday, Billie and Shark stayed at my place for some privacy, if you know what I mean. ;)
Nothing eventful happened, but we had a great time and felt all lovey-dovey.
I took Claudia to my boxing class on Friday before heading to work to get her out of the house, and she seemed to enjoy it.
"Are you planning a trip to L.A. soon, Lisa? Maybe for Halloween? You really should come to visit us back home," Claudia suggested.
"I don't have any trips planned yet because of uni. I still have courses until February,"
"It's a shame you won't join us for Halloween; the horror night is always a blast."
"Are you and Finn planning to go?"
"Yes, we are, along with Billie and all her friends,"
"Wait, Billie is flying to L.A. for Halloween?"
"Didn't she tell you? She's flying out with us on the 28th."
"So, in like three days?"
"She didn't tell you?"
"No, but it's alright," I said, trying to keep my composure.
Later, as I headed home after the boxing class, I felt uneasy about the situation Claudia had revealed to me. However, I brushed it off and started working.

After arriving at Billie's place, I headed to the studio, where I found Finn at the table and Claudia on the couch.
"When did you plan on telling me about your L.A. trip? I can't drop everything to take care of Shark on such short notice, or literally no notice in this case," I expressed my frustration to Billie.
"Oh, shoot, I forgot to tell you. I never miss Horror Night, baby," Billie apologized.
"It would have been nice to know earlier. I have a fuck ton of work and university commitments next week, and rearranging my schedule around taking care of Shark won't be easy," I explained.
"I'm sorry, love. I got caught up with studio sessions. Can you make it work, though? I have a roundtable and a Vanity Fair event to attend, too, so it's pretty important for me to go," Billie asked.
"When will you be back, then? I need to arrange the home office days with my boss."
"I'll be back November 6th. We can still talk about it later," Billie said apologetically as I left the room.
"I'll be up in a few minutes," she called after me.
I then called my boss, letting her know I couldn't make it to work the next week and had to do home office instead. That crazy woman started to lose her shit. Somebody didn't have sex in a long time. And it wasn't me.
"Listen, I have to take care of my girlfriend's dog, and it doesn't matter where I work. We don't have any meetings in the office next week, so I don't understand the problem."
"I don't care. You've had enough home office days."
"I won't be able to make it though. That's how it is. You'll have to accept that, or I'm out."
"Out as in what? Quit??" she yelled at me through the phone.
"Yes, actually, I'd be glad to quit this job. You've been treating me like shit, and you don't listen when young people know how to do something more efficiently than you."
