Honestly a mix of mythology logic but mostly Chinese(journey to the west) and Greek mythos

The world has a balance. There are those with sinister motives and evil running through their veins naturally. Others show kindness and fairness.

The heavens, earth, and the underworld have their places in hosting the multiple races that live in these realms.

Gods, celestial warriors, immortals, humans, monsters, fairies, demigods, and finally demons.

Some of these races should never mix.

But so long as chaos is a part of this world, order is hard to maintain.

Demons often show their faces to the humans of Earth and then fight the celestial warriors sent down by the reigning gods of protection.

Akaza, a demon known for his thirst for battle has gained the title of beast of war.

He would find a battlefield with lords and warriors. If he caused enough bloodshed, he would force the hand of local gods to come down with their celestial warriors.

Kokushibo would join shortly after from the Underworld as his brother Yoriichi would come down.

An example is how two beings who were once close could now only meet in battle.

There's another such example where two beings can meet in certain situations.

Kotoha was a fairy of the spring goddess. A beauty that would sing to encourage the growth of flower buds.

Too bad she would gain the attention of something sinister.

Ice demon lord Douma, one of the most powerful Lords of the Underworld. His land is known to be so cold that no fire could be lit. His breath is said to be that of frost and his steps would freeze the ground.

But oh how he enjoys the warmth of the spring fairy Kotoha.

Too bad whatever he wanted could not be.

Not unless she were to join his side.

Even her warmth couldn't keep up with how cold his land was. So Douma would only visit the fairy from dusk to dawn, the full moon being the best time for their love.

Morning Dew would freeze and goosebumps would run down her exposed skin but he would feel his own heart thaw with each smile she threw at him.

Their bond would seal in an exchange of blood.

Their blood pooled together into a child that was a beast.
A warrior who dons fur for the extreme temperatures of his father's realm and skin tan as he lays in the sun, napping as his mother works to bring spring to its fullest potential.

His father would vanish come summer but return when his mother became weak in the Fall. Winter was her weakest point but his strongest. Spring is when they are equal.

Their love however never changes, unlike the seasons.

Thousands of years later

Douma laughs, frost leaving his mouth as his son breaks another mountain of ice in his realm. He was testing his new swords some Immortal smiths had given him. The demon lord spreads his fans and summons another mountain for his son.

His son shifts his boar mask back on, and the fur that protects him grows till he is more beast than man. Douma hears a cry before his son destroys the mountain.

He looks to the skies, his eyes shifting to watch in-between realms, and finds the sun is about to set.

Inosuke knows it's time as his father closes his fans.

Soon they are traveling between realms.

In the dying rays of the sun, Kotoha soaks up the last of the light, glowing lightly before she hums.

A cool breeze welcomes her as darkness consumes the land and she smiles.

Her husband has come to greet her, intending to make the most of the time they had together.
