Douma was almost believing himself in the thought of playing family with Kotoha. Raising Inosuke till he was fully grown. Watching them age and him taking care of them.

But the door had to be unlocked that night she came. Opening it to see him eating and fangs stained with blood.
Beware the phantom of the opera
"Kotoha-chan-" His words become muted, her savior becoming more the true savage beast he was. So she ran, Inosuke in her arms.
Sing, my angel of music
"Kotoha." Claws brush through blue hair, bloody and growing cold the longer he held her in his lap.
His songbird should have been more wary.
