Luka endured torture beyond anything he had ever gone through before. A large regimen of electroconvulsive therapy. Dr. Malcolmson was going to force him to comply again whether he wanted to or not. He wasn't going to remember anything. He was going to be filled once again with everything that would condition him to be under Dr. Malcolmson's control once again.
Dr. Malcolmson was going to take any of his insubordination. He will do as he is told, without a thought, without a question; he will obey. Dr. Malcolmson watched over every proceeding that took place under his roof. He watched the tears stream down Luka's face, the pain he endured, his body trembling and aching. The way his eyes fluttered, and his body tensed and shook with each ECT procedure. Each vomiting session he came back to. He listened as Luka begged for it to stop.
Dr. Malcolmson stood vigilant over it all. His heart breaking, but he knew the job he had to do and what he had to achieve. He watched this grown man, his grown child begging out in agony. Carruthers came into the room and stood with Dr. Malcolmson. "He's a grown man. He disobeyed and made his own decisions. This is on him. I would not feel bad about it." Carruthers insisted as he stood with his arms clasped behind him at the wrist.
Dr. Malcolmson kept eyes on Luka as he endured another round of ECT. "I had no choice but to put him into the programs. My only son. He was such a sweet little boy." Dr. Malcolmson admitted as a tear ran from his eye. "I understand this is a daunting experience for you, but you knew what would happen in the end." Carruthers insisted. "I thought I could be stronger. If I altered him out, it would be easier, but he looks just like his mother. His blue eyes are so hollow now. The fear he had when he saw me. I know he's not my son anymore, but I still can't let him go." Dr. Malcolmson admitted as he took a deep breath in and let it out.
He changed the direction of the conversation. "How are the children coming along?" Dr. Malcolmson asked. "Well, they are all in the game room at the moment." Carruthers spoke. "How is Billy Reed acclimating to the surroundings? Is he still unaware?" Dr. Malcolmson asked. "He is doing very well. Abilities came out quite quickly this time around. He still seems unaware of the age-regression and transition back into children's classes. The ECT was successful for him." Carruthers admitted. "Perfect. We will get Luka back into compliance and he will help train the children." Dr. Malcolmson insisted.
Luka spent months enduring the ECT trauma before he finally succumbed to being void of everything. He was easily controlled and easy to handle. His memories of training kept, as they still attempted to bring his abilities back out of him, but Alexei still had a deep hold and would not release them. He didn't speak, he rarely blinks, and complied with any order given to him. He was finally what Dr. Malcolmson would call perfection.
He stood vigilant at the door, as he waited for Dr. Malcolmson to get there. Dr. Malcolmson saw him standing there. The void, expressionless look on his face, almost haunted his eyes. Visions of him as a child with his little smiles he would crack, or the tears that ran down his face. The moments when Dr. Malcolmson allowed himself to be a father caught up to him. His battle for perfection was his downfall as he realized he had just destroyed the last shred of life in his son.
