General Harding sat in his office working on the extensive amount of paperwork he needed to do to continue to run the program. He listened to Jensen as he spoke. "The men are in for the serum currently. It should take up to seventy-two hours for the results, granted if they survive." Jensen spoke as he let his head fall back. He was exhausted dealing with the six men. "I don't think any other added member will benefit the team. We get what we get. What are you going to do with Novak for the timeframe?" General Harding asked as he looked at Jensen. "I don't know. The others are in the medical bay, and he has been calm and not killing anyone. I am more worried about how many fights are going to break out when all upgrades are complete. You must know Wheeler and P. Myles are going to do everything they can to kill Novak." Jensen spoke.

General Harding understood where he came from. He expected it would happen. "Why don't we skip training for the timeframe, we throw them directly into battles. Novak and Gretzky should be fine, but it should hopefully humble the other men." General Harding suggested. "It could work. Anything is worth a shot at this moment." Jensen spoke. General Harding could tell Jensen was fed up with what was all happening.

"Do we have companion for Novak yet? Maybe he should be treated for bringing the men in." General Harding stated. "Negative. I don't feel a companion for him is going to go over well. From his records, he's not into sex. Dr. Malcolmson usually keeps him away from it, unless on espionage missions." Jensen explained. "Rules and regulations must be followed. Dr. Malcolmson isn't running this facility, I am, and I am bound by the Higher Authority." General Harding insisted. "What if he kills her?" Jensen asked. "We bring her back. They're just companions. Nobody cares what happens to them. They're disposable." General Harding spoke.

Luka was in the training facility as he fought against a punching bag. He moved side to side as he punched and kicked. The bag, barely able to handle the strength of the punches and kicks. His breathing quick and his hands bleeding through his bandages. He didn't care much for the gloves. He was always training to be better. He heard the door open as he avoided looking and continued to battle the punching bag.

Jensen walked over as he stood next to Luka, forcing him to be aware of him. Luka stopped as he grabbed the bag to stop it from swinging. He looked at Jensen. His eyes didn't blink as he stood irritated with him being so close to him and disrupting him. "General Harding and I have spoken, and we had decided that it is time for you to get a companion for the program. We have picked several females for the task. You get to choose." Jensen stated as Luka looked at him confused. He shook his head. "You don't have a choice. It's part of the contract." Jensen spoke as he started to walk away. He looked back at Luka as he stood looking at him. "Are you coming to choose one?" Jensen asked.

Luka sighed as he turned to the bag and began to punch it again. Jensen turned and walked back towards him. He raised his hand as the bag stopped swinging in its spot. Luka turned to him. "I've read your file over and over. You are often very defiant; you don't get a choice Novak. Get moving." Jensen stated, his tone more demanding. Luka didn't make eye contact as he kept his eyes towards his hands. "I never asked to be in this. All these programs. I'm constantly fighting. I was forced to do this, forced to do everything else. How long until Papa just takes me back?" Luka asked. His voice was calm, but a subtle sound of sadness inside of it.
