Mission after mission. Years after years, and many age-regressions passed as the men worked hard for Sector 24. The men getting better at teamwork. They started to succeed in missions. Missions that Sector 24 chose for them, and not what the Higher Authority wanted. Some were better at teamwork, some were better with solo missions.

Luka was their main go to. He knew how to work in the shadows, Gabe often was on coms and working on the computer. The others spread out as they watched and waited for if they were needed. Billy had advanced his Siren ability, he learned to control frequencies. People could feel a headache, or their ears ring, noses and ears would bleed, pain and suffering could be brought out, but in the end, he could burst their heads with a simple thought now. He rarely used it for fear Malcolmson would find out.

Gabe and Rory worked hard together keeping a flow of money and work for the others to do. Parker often worked with Kyle and Billy, keeping an eye on Luka as he worked his abilities in the world, but Luka often found himself alone in the world as the others went off to do their own work. Luka had noticed the tail that had been following him.

It wasn't the first time he had noticed the kid. His movements were rather the same, his clothing often the same as well. Luka could see his blonde curly hair under the black hoodie as he moved along, acting as if he wasn't paying attention to Luka. Luka was better at hiding his intentions. He kept him in his radar as he moved along. He needed to lose the tail. He was good at getting away, but this kid kept finding him. He needed to know why. Who exactly was keeping tabs on him?

Luka entered an old apartment building as he waited for the kid to follow him. He was setting his trap, and the kid was falling into it. Luka went up the stairs, listening to the footsteps as they followed in tow. Round and round Luka went up the stairs as he exited onto the eighth floor. Luka stopped and waited, listening to the door as he started to walk again. He slipped to the corner as the kid started to get faster following him. Luka teleported to the next corner, he couldn't risk the sound of his clothing and running to the next corner. He slipped to the next corner as the kid followed him through the maze of hallways.

Luka hit a dead end as he made his move and teleported back behind the kid. He watched the kid turn the corner and stop in confusion. He moved closer as he tried to look for the way that Luka escaped; unaware that Luka stood behind him. "Fuck." The kid said to himself as he ran his hands through his hair in failure. His hood fell off his head. He couldn't figure out how he had escaped. The kid went to turn as Luka raised his gun. The kid stared directly down the barrel of Luka's gun. His eyes got big as he looked between Luka and the gun. "Why are you following me?" Luka asked in a cold and calculated tone as the kid looked at him. Luka could see the sheer terror in his eyes. He noticed the kid couldn't be more than eighteen or nineteen.

"How did you do that? How did you get behind me?" He asked in a British accent. Luka placed his finger on the trigger of his gun as the kid kept his hands up. He was beginning to sweat in fear as he kept his eyes switching from the gun to the man holding it. He was panicking. "You have ten seconds to start talking." Luka demanded as the kid looked back up at him. "Ok, fair enough. I'm...I'm..." He started stuttering for his words in his panic. "My name is Tommy Copeland. I...I...I know it doesn't mean anything to you, but I'm your son." He admitted. Luka raised his eyebrow as he kept his finger on the trigger. "That is a terrible excuse. Try again." Luka stated as he got more demanding for an answer.
