The men woke up at 0500 as they always did to get ready for a mission. They did a workout, ate and showered before getting ready and sending off. Luka isolated himself from the others as he mentally prepared for what he needed to do. It was his way of getting ready when it was Kyle and him. The guys understood and let him be. They landed at an army base in D42 [Reader's Dimension] in the cover of night. The base knew of them coming and were ready to allow the team to use their coms. They exited the helicopter in full black gear, their faces covered, no name patches or insignias on their uniforms. They were discreet, but courteous to the members of the base. They were thrilled to see such a unique group in their facility.

"Dude, where did you get that gun?" One of the soldiers asked as they looked at Jericho's piece. "Classified." He stated as they took up roost in the coms center. "Alright, you hear me alright?" Hanz asked as he kept an eye on them with a night vision drone. He saw a thumbs up from both men as they got ready with Henry to be dropped off at a closer destination. Hanz followed with the drone as Rory and Billy worked on their transceivers. They watched for movement and anything going on in the surrounding area at the target point. They looked for areas of extraction and places for them to hide. They were in open lands and the team was nervous for them. They knew how to protect themselves, they knew how to hide, but it was going to be hard.

Luka and Kyle were dropped off as they crawled the rest of the way to their destination and got covered before morning. They could end up being stuck out there for several days. No one knew they were out there. The two men barely moved as they stayed silent and watched. When one took a quick nap the other kept on guard. They shared a canteen of water as they sipped and sweated. They were hot in the sand, in the desert heat, but their suits kept them cool to an extent. It would have been easier if they were out in the open and running, but staying stagnant and barely moving didn't help them.

Several days had passed in the heat as Hanz kept flying the drone high enough to where no one would see it but kept an eye on the two men. "Where are they?" An army officer asked, as Hanz switched it to heat signatures. They could see the two men hiding in the sand. "They are good." He stated as Hanz smiled. "That's why we do this." Hanz stated as he kept an eye on everything. Luka was napping as he felt a tap on his arm. He looked through his scope to see a vehicle pulling up to the compound. He could see the target as he started to aim. Kyle kept watch and waited for the right moment. "Target acquired." Kyle whispered to coms. "Do you have a way out?" Hanz asked. "We'll stay if we have to." Kyle whispered as Luka lined up his shot. He watched the sand blowing in the wind as he calculated the speed and where to point his gun. "Let me know if you need a distraction." Hanz stated. "Copy." Kyle whispered as Luka set up his shot. His movements were slow as he adjusted. He watched as the target was walking to the building. "Going hot." He whispered as Kyle copied what Luka said for coms. "Target locked. Three, two, one." He pulled the trigger. It took him three days to get his shot, which was done in only a few short seconds.

"Target down, fatal chest shot." Kyle whispered as the men at the compound looked around and started to shoot as the target dropped dead from the chest shot. Luka kept his eyes focused on the ground as they started to run around and get back into the vehicles. Kyle and Luka moved slowly as they started to put stuff back onto them the best they could. A few gunshots were fired in their direction, but they didn't know what they were shooting at. He felt his panic kick in when the vehicles started to come their way. The men sat as still as possible as he watched one drive by just inches from where he was as they looked for the shooter. It was too close for comfort as he turned and watched the vehicles driving around. He was almost twelve hundred yards out, but it didn't take them long to be in his area scoping for everything, shooting at the ground and driving wildly, hoping to crush the hidden men. "Call distraction." Luka whispered. "We need a distraction." Kyle whispered. "Drone is in the air, coming down." Hanz spoke out.
