Billy spent months helping Luka when he could. It was exhausting as they spent most nights battling to clear Luka's hectic mind, but Billy finally started to break through all the trauma with the help of the newly hired psychiatrist that specialized in MK Ultra trauma. Billy laughed as he watched Luka as he started to roll a medicine ball towards where they stood with his mind. "You're doing it! You fucking got this man!" Billy smiled. Luka moved it to his shoe as he picked it up and smiled. "Now to get you to do that a lot faster and quicker, but it's coming back." Billy stated as he looked at Luka. Luka smiled as he looked at the ball in his hands. "Thank you." He said as he looked up at him. "Not a problem. It's the least I can do for you, you've taught me how to be an assassin and to do espionage...and helped with parkour. I'm glad I could help." Billy admitted as he patted Luka's back.
"So, I am taking it that your meetings with the psychiatrist are going well." Billy stated as Luka shrugged. "I guess so. I just do a lot of fucking crying during it." Luka admitted. "I do too. You're not the only one. I even seen Kyle go in. Ok? Fucking Wheeler." Billy stated as Luka chuckled. "He hates you right now." Luka admitted. "What the fuck did I do to him now?" Billy asked. "You're taking his best friend away. He's a jealous guy." Luka admitted. "Explains why I woke up with a knife to my throat like two weeks ago. That was weird and then Gretzky just kept laughing when he left the room." Billy admitted. "He said he was going to do that. I wasn't going to get involved." Luka admitted as Billy looked at him in shock. "Fuck you! You could have warned me dude!" Billy laughed as he hit his arm. "It would have taken the fun out of it." Luka stated as Billy shook his head. "I got Wheeler trying to kill me. I have you knowing about it and allowing it to happen. I have Gretzky that just hates me. I'm at a loss here." Billy spoke as he shook his head and chuckled.
The men stood in silence for a moment. "I'm just glad I am not on the top of the list for half of them anymore. I don't know how many fights we all got into because I brought them here." Luka admitted. "I hated you for a long time for that, but you know what, it's been the best job I could have ever asked for, even if it is in the programs. The bosses are learning, and willing to change. I can't complain." Billy admitted. "It scares me to be honest." Luka admitted. "Serious?" Billy asked as he looked at Luka confused. Luka looked at him as he nodded his head. "Yeah. I grew up with this shit. Not only does changing rules scare the shit out of me, it's taking me out of my comfort zone, but they used to use that against us. They would act like things were going to get better and then bam!" Luka said as he slapped the ball, and it made a loud noise. "They throw a 'just kidding' at you and shit goes back to normal." Luka admitted.
Billy understood what Luka meant, knowing he had dealt with it several times before. Billy had seen Luka scared often before, but this felt different, he knew Luka's world, the only world he knew was crashing down around him. He had no control, and he was terrified. "You remember when you told me about being trained to be an abuser?" Billy asked as Luka looked at him. "I don't want to talk about that again." Luka admitted. "You don't have to. This wasn't put into my record, but I have something that traumatizes me to the core too. You know how you have to do something really bad to show your loyalty to the programs?" Billy asked as Luka nodded his head. "It was after I was taken completely and then completed my training. I was assigned to kill my dad. That didn't faze me at all. It was easy to do, but I had someone else they wanted me to kill. Someone that would hurt me. His name was Randy Briggs. He was the chief of police back home." Billy said as he stopped to think about things.
Luka waited, knowing Billy was struggling. "Back in the day I was some punk kid to him that kept getting in trouble, but he started to listen to me, started to know something was going on. It got to the point that he took Sammy and I away just to keep us safe from my dad. He started to believe me about them taking me at night. Sammy even saw it one night. He did all he could to keep me safe, but it was inevitable. He became a real father to me. I remember the look on his face when I came into his home after years of being gone. I remember his face when he realized I wasn't the same kid anymore. I remember his face when I shot him. Both deaths were ruled a homicide, by an unknown assailant." Billy admitted as he looked over at Luka. "We have to live with this forever, but Sector 24 is going to change this for us. We're going to be ok." Billy admitted.
