A two seconds call from Jimin marked the commencement of his time to face the horror. Swallowing the build up anxiety, Namjoon pushed the knot in his necktie up. The shirt sleeves were buttoned and a coat was put on. Taehyung was yet to arrive, so a cigarette was pulled out of the golden case to kill the time.

After a puff or two from the lighted tobacco stick, Namjoon sat on the bed with his back against the head rest. The free hand was placed on the pillow at other side of bed that caused the closed eyes to picture the face of a person who would not only ask him to stop smoking but also throw the poisonous object away. The face beamed recalling the phone conversation he had with the same person last night.

"What the fu-"

Namjoon churned up from his thoughts at the loud yelling of his manager. The man could be shorter in height and less muscular in shape, but his deep voice and temper were not something to joke about. The elder threw the burnt cigarette butt in the ashtray and walked to the dresser to spray some perfume to cover up the tobacco stink.

"I was just 2 minutes late, hyung. That doesn't mean you will light up a smoke on your bed with the shoes on." Taehyung continued yelling at his boss while dusting off the dirt from the bed with a piece of dry mop he found at the section of a cabinet.

"I am stressed out, Tae." Namjoon's defending tone supported his claim which made the other turn back.
"I know you are, but smoking isn't a stress buster, hyung." He took out a box of mints from his pocket and handed to the elder. "Take this else the opponent lawyer will add one more point in the accusation list if he smells tobacco from you."

The movie producer followed his manager's instructions and started his way to the court with a heavy chest and a swirling stomach out of hypertension.

"Did you have breakfast?"
"I might throw up if a single morsel of food enters my body right now."
"Okay, will have an early lunch then."

Bounded by all kinds of chaotic energy, the 32 years old had his eyes fixated on the woman dressed in blue. In last few months, every time they face each other is either during a court hearing or at the lawyer's office. The term 'wife' seemed to have become overburdening considering their current state of marriage, but Namjoon still fosters the concept of a happy marriage inside his broken heart.

"The evidences submitted by Mr. Kang tip the scale towards Mr. Kim Namjoon for the accountability of infidelity. Do you have anything to oppose, Mr. Park?"

The judge threw the question at Namjoon's lawyer, Park Jimin after checking the evidences from Sa-ra's lawyer, Kang Jae-hwon. Sa-ra maintained her apathetic posture using her phone from time to time while Namjoon kept running all possible positive scenarios in his mind that can convince the woman to reconcile with her separated husband.

"I, in fact, carry all the explanations and evidences to prove Mr. Kang's accusation against my client otherwise, your honour."

Taehyung was mesmerised by the confident lawyer who went ahead to present everything on the side of Namjoon turning the table around. He was certain of the authenticity of Jimin's evidences to compel the verdict go in favour of Namjoon.

The eyes of the billionaire misted over as he listened to the voice recording of Sa-ra's conversation with her lover. The hotel bills, the CCTV footages from her frequent trips with her brother's friend at the expense of Namjoon's money were all out in the court for display, tearing the last string of hope he had for a reconciliation. The brutal truth was that he himself wasn't aware of all the things happening behind his back in their married life.
