Chapter 27: "Because I'm your boyfriend"

The shaking of knees continued in the sitting position inside the car as well. It's been continuing since the previous day after an unexpected phone call making his entire body struggling to process whatever was conveyed through it. Reaching out for the bottle of drinking water, the singer spilled the liquid all over his shirt as the cap was opened with a forceful twist.

"Baby!"

The car was stopped after searching for an appropriate sideway. The driver stopped the engine and unbuckled his seatbelt to turn to the man in passenger's seat who didn't show a single hint of being bothered by his clothes that are wet now.

"Baby!"

The shaking knees were stopped as a pair of veiny hands cupped the knee caps. The bottle was taken away as well to avoid further spillage and the stressed out man was pulled closer to the one in driver's seat after unhooking the buckle of his seatbelt.

"Everything's going to be fine, baby. I'm with you."
The frazzled man hugged the assuring one with his eyes closed to mutter, "I'm scared, Yoongi. What if she disrespects you again? I just want to live in peace. Let's go back, I don't want to go."

Yoongi kissed on his husband's head and patted on his back displaying his accompaniment no matter how the sudden dinner invitation turns out to be. They were on their way to the Jeons. Although it was Jungkook and Jun-ho who invited them, the information about this being Jinah's idea wasn't missed out. This is what kept her eldest son to the edge doodling multiple unpleasant scenarios in his overthinking mind.

On the other hand, Yoongi is unable to find the exact link between this dinner plan and Jun-ho's phone call few weeks back, but he is being hopeful that finally they would be accepted as a normal couple to the elder Jeons.

"I don't know why but I'm feeling like things will be different this time, Jin." Yoongi said with his lips still touching Seokjin's head who just pulled out of the elder's arms to face him.
"Are you sure?"
"I'm hopeful, baby. Let's go find out together."

With a small nod, they straightened their sitting positions in the respective seats and Yoongi resumed driving.

Jungkook ran towards his brother jumping into his arms just the way Seokjin used to lift him up in their childhood. Yoongi smiled adoringly at the duo while his eyes caught the approaching elder couple. He immediately bowed out of respect and surprisingly it was equated with two willing nods from the couple.

"I missed you so much, hyung." Jungkook said almost tearing up on his brother's shoulder.
"I missed my baby too, Kookie. Sorry I got busy with work." Seokjin apologised tightening his arms around the dangling bunny.

"Seeking forgiveness from both of you will be too desperate for a selfish person like I am but still would request you guys to consider me a part of your family." Jinah said with folded hands and lowered head transparently putting her sincerity at disposal.

"Not only you, Jinah. I was no less of a horrible man who badmouthed about his own children." Jun-ho's words delighted Yoongi realising the word 'children' was used for both Seokjin and him.

"Let's forget about everything and start anew, dad and Mrs.-" Yoongi got cut off by Jinah who corrected his words, "It's mom for you, Yoongi."

"Let's be the family we are, mom and dad." Yoongi was engulfed in a warm hug by his in-laws while Seokjin and Jungkook broke their hug to appreciate their parents accepting Yoongi into the family.

As the welcoming was completed with the trio smiling, Jinah walked towards her eldest son. Taking his hands in hers, "Mom will always be there for you, Jin. Give me a chance of redemption for the sins I committed in the past." She broke into tears in her son's arms whose reaction wasn't any different. They both stayed like that for a while.

The dinner table was adorned with laughter and giggles as the Jeon family celebrated the improvement in relationships with the Mins. After the serving of desserts, Jinah dropped the bomb of her separation from Jun-ho stupefying the Min couple.

"Why suddenly mom? Dad, aren't you gonna say something?" Seokjin asked feeling deceived by his fate as his parents are getting apart right at the moment when he regained their love and acceptance. Yoongi didn't remark anything hoping to hear the explanation from the woman herself and Jungkook held his brother's arm to calm him down.

"It's my decision, Jin. It's needless to say that your father and I hardly have anything in common that can hold us together anymore. You and Kook are grownups now and you have your own family. Kook might settle down soon, so it's time we take this step which is favourable to both of us."

Jinah placed her hand on her husband's that was resting on the dining table. She didn't want to make the situation overwhelming for Seokjin revealing about his father's past life, neither did she want to disclose about Jungkook's relationship with Namjoon considering how fragile things are until the production house owner gets divorced legally. It was no matter of mistrust, it was just her concern for keeping Jungkook's life free of chaos.

After hours of explanation and assurance of being okay with this decision, Jun-ho and Jinah were able to convince Seokjin that this was the best decision for both of them to carry on with their lives happily in their individual perspectives.

Jungkook wasn't ready to leave his brother and his favourite Yoongi hyung this soon but due to packed up schedule for the next day, they had to take leave from the Jeon residence. Seokjin and Yoongi shared how exciting and amazing the new project is, the music for the movie that is the latest product under banner of Kim Productions and they spoke highly of Namjoon being the most humble and compassionate figure in the industry.

Jinah and Jun-ho stole glances of their little Kookie who was turning to a red pulp out of blush but kept quietly smiling. Jungkook was proud of his boyfriend and the beautiful relationship Seokjin shared with Yoongi made him want the same for himself with Namjoon someday. His heart is advancing towards the peak of desire with each passing day as the final divorce trial is just around the corner.

"And what else did they- ouch!"

Namjoon groaned at the paining chest that was hit by the little yet strong fist of his boyfriend who was chilling on the elder's lap while playing with his collar.

"Stop trying to get all praises out of my mouth. My parents kept looking at me like some newly married bride blushing at the name or her husband." Jungkook scrunched his nose complaining to his boyfriend about his parents' playful act.

"Were you really blushing so hard?" Namjoon asked before biting the button nose gently.
"Get off my nose! No I wasn't! Why would I?" Jungkook frowned with fake disgust for the man who couldn't control himself sliding his hand under the younger's night-suit.

"Because I'm your boyfriend." The complaining one's body got quaked by the whisper in deep voice close to his ears and the soft muscle on his waist got cramped up by the squeeze it received in the hands of the elder man.

Jungkook's hands clenched on Namjoon's biceps that remained unyielding at the scratches created by the younger's nails whose body was electrified by the wet lips on his neck and tighter hold on his waist.

"I don't like you sneaking into my room, Namjoon." He said with lips curved downward but the lustful lips kept devouring his delicate skin on neck.
"Day after tomorrow, I will kidnap you forever and not let you go even if your parents ask me to." Namjoon raised his head and captured the now smiling lips of his boyfriend.

"I won't scream even if you tie me up and hide me in the basement." As the kiss was paused, Jungkook presented his bold statement pushing himself in the lion's den.

"You will scream my name though!"
"You pervert! I still have red marks from yesterday."
"Let me see."

Namjoon was fully aware of how Jungkook played his tricks to keep the man wrapped around his finger. As the night suit was pulled up, Namjoon's body became devoid of the property called self-control and indulged himself in taking full advantage of Jungkook's beauty and consent.
