Chapter 41: "As you say, my beautiful fiancée."

Finally able to keep his promise and save his love from humiliation, Namjoon sighed in relief caressing Kookie's back. It was only few minutes the younger felt safe in his boyfriend's arms that a storm took over their peace.

"What the hell are you doing in my room?" Sa-ra stood glaring at the two with Jae-hwon beside her. It was anticipated she would return as they previously left in a fit of rage, hence Namjoon didn't take chances to wait for longer executing the plan with his boyfriend.

"Didn't I ask you to get out of here?" Namjoon spat back with Kookie still in his arms.
"Oh! You really think I would obey your orders?" She shouted taking a step towards her ex-husband when she noticed her laptop on the bed. "What are you trying to find in my laptop, Namjoon? Is this about pictures of Jungkook? I thought you don't care about him anymore getting this whore in your bed." She looked at Kookie with disgusted expression.

"Say one more word and I will show you hell, Sa-ra!"
"Even if you got the pictures, I must tell you, I have a special hard drive with Jungkook's pictures in it that is safely sitting inside my locker." She smirked putting her hand behind to which Namjoon laughed out.

"You really think I don't know you, Sa-ra? You're trying to hide your shaking hands because you're lying. Your face and fake smile of pride says you have those pictures saved nowhere."

Jungkook hid his face more into Namjoon's chest feeling extremely scared around the vicious woman and her accomplice.

"Why do you care about Jungkook now? Aren't you happy with this cheap slut?" Before completing the words, she pulled Kookie by the hair causing unbearable pain.

In an instant, Namjoon freed Kookie from her and pulled to himself after pushing Sa-ra away. Immediately, a nervous Jae-hwon ran to his girlfriend's side helping her to stand up.

"How dare you come near us?" Namjoon's aggrieved face was quite a horrifying sight but Jae-hwon managed to pick up a heavy home decor from the nearby cabinet and raised his hand to throw at Namjoon when a hand snatched away the thing from him. Turning back, an infuriated Taehyung was found but the view got blocked when the newly arrived man left a clear impression of his palm on the corrupted lawyer's cheek.

"I got your message, hyung. Jimin is on the way." He said rubbing his hand on the trousers.

"I'm going to finish you, Namjoon!" Before Sa-ra could attack any one of them, Namjoon marched out of the room with Kookie and Taehyung locked the door from outside.

"If we let them free, not just only they will try to attack but also flee away. I'll call the cops too. You take care of him." Taehyung told his boss looking at a shaking Kookie.
"Thanks Tae."
"Anything for my brother, hyung."

The brothers nodded smilingly acknowledging each other's importance in their lives before Namjoon went into his room to tend to Jungkook.

Fraudulence, phishing scam were the crimes that the notorious couple was charged with. Namjoon and Sa-ra's divorce got expedited on the grounds of her crimes and infidelity evidences. Act of violence was also counted to which Taehyung was a third witness. Jimin did a great job in the matter by appointing the top criminal lawyers in his team to lock the duo up. He was offered the primary attorney's position in Kim Productions thereafter making it easier for the secret couple Taehyung and Jimin to spend most of their times together, even at work.

Namjoon barely had to provide any alimony to Sa-ra but he didn't take back few shares he provided to her earlier when they were married.

The bold and confident self of Jungkook was somehow lost in the way after being a witness to Sa-ra and Jae-hwon's first hand crimes. He started recovering gradually with immense care from Namjoon and his family.
