Fifteen different sets of clothing were laid out on the bed with a confused Jungkook standing beside. Going for something shiny or extravagant was totally unnecessary considering the outing to be a late dinner. After hours of contemplation, a pair of blue jeans and a white tee were selected. No warm garment accompanied the combination due to summery weather outside.

It was 9 already and Jun-ho's dinner and medicines were taken care of but going out late at night without informing him put Jungkook in a fix. He appointed one of the butlers to stay close to his father in case he needs something but the worry didn't get diminished by this.

"Dad"

Jun-ho turned to the door taking his eyes off the book he was reading. Throwing a smile at his son, he adjusted the bookmark and placed the book beside him on bed.
"You look dressed up."
"I was just going to-"
"Have a good evening, Kookie." The elder wished his best before allowing Jungkook to explain. Seeing the nervous lip biting and feet tapping, he could figure out his son wasn't just going out with some random friends.

"Thanks dad."
"Come here."

Jungkook sat beside him at the edge of bed when Jun-ho fixed a disheveled strand of hair on his son's head to make look more charming.
"Is this the friend from London who you helped in moving?" The father asked recalling about the friend with whom Jungkook was spending significant time stating about some shifting house situation.

"I'm sorry for lying to you, dad." Instead of a dose of rebuke, the boy got a warm hug from his father saying, "It's okay, Kookie. Now you know I won't object, so do not try to hide your true self from this world. You will always have this old man's support with you." This bewildered the other when the cursing words for Seokjin were uttered in the same mouth as the one which is showering blissful wishes on him.

"I know you might find this strange but trust me Kookie, I do want the best for your brother too."
"I know, dad." Jungkook nodded in the hug announcing him being aware of his father's love equally valid for his elder brother. An incoming message tune on his phone caused them to break the hug. It was from Namjoon as he would have expected, who was waiting outside his house.

"Tell the gentleman, whoever it is, that my son is no less than the rarest diamond in the world." Jun-ho teased pinching on his son's cheek leaving a heavily blushing hue on the skin.
"Dad!" They both laughed out, one in embarrassment and the other in happiness. Wishing a good night, Jungkook left almost running out of the house.

Jun-ho walked to the balcony watching a brown Porsche Panamera driven off as soon as Jungkook entered.
"How rich that kid is? I hope it's not a wrong choice for my Kookie." He mumbled expressing a valid concern to his own.

Not a single word was spoken from the beautiful pair of lips that Namjoon kept stealing glimpses of while trying his best to keep the vision straight on the road. At the signal before the next turn, Namjoon made his hand move slowly on Jungkook's thigh grabbing the attention he was seeking for.

"Why are you so silent today?" He asked looking at the expressionless eyes of the younger.
"I just- I don't know! I mean-is this-"

The signal immediately turned green and Namjoon took back his hand to resume driving. Within half a minute, he stopped the car at one side before checking no following vehicle was obstructed due to the sudden halt.

He pulled the boy on his lap who adjusted himself well by hugging Namjoon in a blink. The elder kept caressing his back saying, "Is something bothering you, Jungkook?"
"I have never been asked out before." A shaky voice answered making Namjoon's heart melt in the most watery form at the moment of realisation that he was Jungkook's first date ever although this wasn't tagged as one yet.
