Chapter 40: "You're a genius, baby"

Funny story: During a virtual session on innovative thoughts today, my manager asked me what's the most used app on my phone that I would like to modify the features for in order to enhance the user friendliness. Trust me, I badly wanted to speak about Wattpad but refrained myself from spilling the truth in front of my colleagues. 🫣

Kookie hit Namjoon's abs with his elbow when the elder tried to tickle him in his belly. The assigned cook was currently preparing breakfast for his so called boss and his upstanding guests. The microwave dinged signalling the freshly baked bread was done. Kookie took out the tray and brushed some garlic butter after slicing them. Namjoon was watching the cute human with great admiration.

Some peeled avocados and boiled eggs were kept in separate bowls on the side. The moment an annoying sound of heels was audible to them, Kookie cleared his throat to silently alert his boyfriend. Namjoon gripped the younger's waist under the top who started acting discomfortable.

"Please, leave me, sir. I know you have a boyfriend." Kookie protested at the sexual advances from his supposed boss.
"Why so shy, baby? You seemed pretty courageous screaming my name last night." Namjoon squeezed on the other's tummy in the way a predator would pounce on its prey.

With a sidelong glance, Kookie smirked to himself finding Sa-ra standing by the door, completely shocked. He brought his scared face back to say, "Don't do this, sir. Please! You have a boyfriend. I cannot help you cheat on him."

"I don't care, beautiful. You know I got bored of him. I didn't know someone could be so prettier and smarter than that spoiled brat. It was just a phase. I'm super straight and I like only women, beautiful women like you, Kookie." Namjoon's staged whisper was in a perfectly audible tone that would reach till the kitchen door. Next, he pulled Kookie closer and removed the hair to have access to the neck that still had some fainted marks from Saturday night. He sucked on those making the other moan loudly.

The bottle of condiment the cook had in hand fell down on the kitchen counter spilling the contents. As Namjoon apparently started cheating on Jungkook with Kookie, a thumping sound distracted them as they planned and the close knit position was broken.

The thermos Sa-ra uses to carry coffee with her was lying on the ground as found by Namjoon and Kookie. A dumbfounded Sa-ra was standing next to it with her eyeballs almost dropping on the floor.

"Ma'am" Kookie blurted out and Namjoon started scratching his head idiotically with a 'caught off guard' face. He took small steps exiting out of the place excusing himself.
"I'll be waiting at the breakfast table."

Kookie fixed the hair and stood by the kitchen counter with shivering hands picking a mob to clean the untidy counter. Sa-ra walked inside as Namjoon left.

"What's going on between you two?" Her face contorted out of curiosity and anger. Kookie gulped before responding in a vulnerable voice, "Nothing, ma'am."

"Don't you dare lie to me!" She turned the other by shoulders to face her.
"It's not my fault. I have a family to support and losing this job will throw me on the streets, ma'am." Kookie wiped some of the fake tears.
"So you slept with him?"
"He forced me. When you and lawyer sir weren't there, he came to my room and blackmailed me showing some pictures of myself in the bathroom, without clothes." The vigorous flow of tears was ensured with prior use of sufficient amount of glycerin that appeared genuine to Sa-ra.

"Namjoon was blackmailing you with nude pictures?" The woman asked being shocked of her ex-husband's immoral behaviour.
"Yes ma'am." Kookie took out a phone from skirt pocket and displayed a picture, half-naked from the back proving the allegation to be true.
