A heavy weight was lifted off his chest as he made eye contact with a known pair of brown eyes that was curiously staring at him. It didn't belong to the woman he met in his dreams, it was his friend, his brother from another mother, Taehyung. Pushing himself up in a sitting position, Namjoon gently punched his manager's arm.

"Ouch! Hyung! Are you okay?" Taehyung asked rubbing on the area of his arm that was hit.
"So you're real!" Namjoon concluded disappointingly supporting his head in his own palms.
"You became sick and now you're hallucinating or something?" Taehyung jerked the elder's shoulder a little in an attempt to bring him back from the trance he was in.

"Oh right! I remember I was in the bar and then restroom and then-"
"Then you fainted!"
"I just saw her, Tae. She was not the Sa-ra who happens to be my ex wife now, she was the Sa-ra who loved me." Namjoon started narrating his dream.

"Hyung, you need to rest now. Don't stress yourself thinking about past or that woman." Taehyung tried to console patting the other's shoulder.
"I can't believe she has changed so much. Was it really my fault? Was it really because I got busy in work?"

Namjoon's heartbroken state stabbed like a knife on a third person's heart who was eavesdropping the conversation from outside the room with a tray full of food in his hands. The name of Sa-ra was like a cacophony in his ears when it was pronounced by the man who is the only emotional escape of Jungkook.

"It was her choice to cheat on you, hyung. If she really was loyal to you, she would have tried to talk to you."
"I'm such a stupid man! She kept withdrawing money in the name of charity and I trusted her blindly."
"Let's just forget about her as of now, hyung. Oh shit! I forgot to call him." Taehyung just recalled he was about to call Jungkook once Namjoon wakes up.
"Whom did you forget to call?" Namjoon asked raising his head from his hands.

"Someone who was the first to find you when you got sick and he helped me bring you home and currently he's preparing food for you." Taehyung babbled in one go fearing if Namjoon would get mad at Jungkook for being there.
"You let some stranger enter my home? What if he's a media person in disguise, Tae?" Namjoon almost growled at his manager imagining unwanted consequences.

"It was me, Namjoon."

Both the Kims turned towards the source of the sentence. Taehyung's eyes broadened seeing Jungkook standing at the door with a tray. He was planning to call him after convincing Namjoon that things were fine, but the bunny hopped into the scene himself. He turned his gaze towards his boss only to be astonished at the sudden warmness in Namjoon's face.

Instead of shouting or reacting negatively, Namjoon stared at the standing man with tired eyes that have been soothed with a wet piece of cloth after a sandstorm. The folds on his forehead got straightened at the relief of the stranger being Jungkook. Taehyung was analysing every detailed change in Namjoon's body language at the presence of Jungkook. Noting down something in his mind, he proceeded with his plan.

"I need to call Mr. Park to check how things are going. You need to eat something, hyung. Don't be a child now." Taehyung walked out of the room without receiving any response from Namjoon, but inside he was thankful for Jungkook's presence and amidst all, he got a chance to call Jimin. The topic of Jimin is something that Taehyung would definitely run through his mind later on.

"It's better to have something light in empty stomach, so made some soup and dumplings. I prefer home prepared dumpling sheets, but didn't have time and found a packet of ready made ones in your pantry. The chicken filling is made from scratch though. I guess the spi-"

"Why are you here, Jungkook?"

The younger walked to the bed and sat candidly in front of Namjoon with the tray on his lap. It was clear from his actions that he wasn't planning to answer to the elder's question. Taking a spoonful of soupy broth along with tiny bits of vegetables, he extended towards Namjoon's mouth.

"You didn't answer me."
"I will, first eat."

There was something undeniably dominating a out Jungkook's attitude that the other couldn't shrug off. He opened his mouth to slurp the soup. It was exactly how he felt when his burnt cigarette would be put out by the same person. Although their roles in bed have been the opposite, Namjoon felt submissive to Jungkook's commanding words every time he asked him to do something. There was no blind trust, but in the calculation of the moment, Namjoon would know that Jungkook never asked for anything wrong.

"How is the soup?" Jungkook asked putting the spoon back on the bowl.
"It's good." Namjoon responded like an obedient child after which the other picked up a piece of dumpling with chopsticks and brought near elder's mouth.
"Now tell me how is the dumpling."
"It's delicious." Namjoon said chewing on the first bite.

The food was finished in next few minutes without any verbal communication. Taehyung cut the call with Jimin after getting necessary information and was about to enter into his boss's bedroom, but stopped at the door. Peeking the silent atmosphere inside and Namjoon's submission to Jungkook's bossy nature, he couldn't help but smile to himself gleefully. He walked away to give some privacy to the people inside the room.

"Did you eat?" Namjoon asked coming out of his hypnotic state.
"I will, Taehyung didn't have lunch either. He is so worried about you." Jungkook got off the bed to put the tray back in the kitchen.

"Can you please stay?" Jungkook felt a hand on his waist just like how Namjoon used to pull him closer while they still had their hookup phase ongoing in the past. He looked at Namjoon's eyes that were staring back pleadingly and then at his hand that was gripping a chunk of flesh on the younger's clothed waist.

Namjoon immediately took back his hand out of awkwardness and apologised, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean that way." He lowered his head in shame of acting a pervert in front of Jungkook.
"You don't have to ask. I was just going to put the tray back and give lunch to Taehyung." Jungkook replied with a tiny smile at the end.

"Oh god! I'm being so mean! You guys didn't even eat because of me." Namjoon shook his head in disbelief of his own deeds.
"Hey! It's okay. We didn't eat because we didn't want to."
"Can you please bring your food here and eat?"

Jungkook felt a flow of satisfaction in his heart observing the persuasion of the elder. Maybe he wanted to shove that attention right on Sa-ra's face to show what she lost being disloyal to her loving husband. Shaking off the grudge, he decided to make this time all about him and Namjoon.

"Okay."

He walked straight into the kitchen and dropped the tray abruptly on the sink to place his hands over his chest. The heart was pounding like how it did when Namjoon kissed him the first time at the party. Although none of them remember the make-out or sex details from that night, the kiss was still gloriously lying in Jungkook's memory.

It was his first kiss after all!
