Mum enters my room, Emma on her hip. "Have you checked you DMs on Instagram?" She asks me. I look at my DMs and see a message from Daniel, Maxine's dad. "It says I'm invited to their wedding. Why would Daniel invite me?" I ask her. Mum shrugs. "I don't know, but he's invited the others and their parents too. I'm surprised Zack didn't message you about it." Mum says. She hands me Emma. Emma babbles, grabbing my finger. I giggle, kissing her round cheek. "Where's Jack?" I ask. Mum laughs. "Oli is holding him." I freeze. "Oli is here?!" I rush downstairs, Emma on my hip. Oli is sat on the sofa, Jack on his lap.
"Oli!" I say. I hand Emma over to Mum, sitting next to him on the sofa. "Hello, Mini Me. How was school?" He asks me, handing Jack over to Dad. "It was good. Zack made me a collage in Photography. It was very cute." I tell him. Oli smiles, kissing my forehead. "That's very sweet of him. Are you excited for Daniel's wedding?" He asks me. I nod. "I'm excited to see Melody, Riley and Leo! Melody misses Caleb really bad. She was telling me yesterday!" Luna walks in. "Luna!" I run over and hug her. "Hiya, Hallie! You're siblings are so cute!" She says. I smile, proud of my siblings. "Are you coming to the wedding, Luna?" I ask. Luna shrugs. "I'm not sure, Hallie. Daniel and aren't that close, although he has invited me!" She says. Oli wraps an arm around her. "It'll be fine, babe. I'll be with you." He says. Caleb walks in, shaking his head. "I don't really give a shit about the wedding. I just want to see Melody." He says, sitting on the arm chair. "Language, Caleb." Luna scolds, making me giggle. Caleb glares at me. "Too bad, so sad." He says. Oli gives him a look. Caleb rolls his eyes. "Are we forgetting that Lauren probably won't come? Bobby has gone to New York to see his mother and that means Lauren will be left at home with Maddison. She's gonna need the help so Melody wont be able to go. So if Melody doesn't go, I don't go. Simple as." He tell us. Oli sighs and Luna narrows her eyes. "You're going, end of discussion. You think we're gonna leave you at Lauren's? She's got enough to deal with, Caleb." Luna says. Oli nods, his face stern. "Exactly. You can see your girlfriend another time." He agrees. Caleb ignores them. "Whatever." He puts on his shoes, walking out and slamming the door behind him.
Luna sighs. "Sorry about him, Lizzie. I don't you to see him behave like that." She says. Mum smiles, bouncing Jack on her hip. "Don't worry about it. He's just going through long distance. Obviously Hallie and Zack live close together so he just get a little jealous. He'll come around." Mum says. Luna nods.
"I hope so."
