(7:00PM)
We enter the hall where the after party is. I'm holding Maxine's hand, our fingers interlocked. "Let's get drunk!" Jamie shouts. We all burst out laughing. Gabbie rolls her eyes. "Honestly, guys." She laughs. I head up to Dad. He's sat talking with Lauren, Melody's mom. "Oci, čo to robíš?!" I hiss. Dad looks at me. "Čo tým myslíš? Len sa rozprávam!" He replies. I sigh. "Choď a sadni si k máme." I say. Dad gets up and sits with Mom. I turn and fake smile at Lauren before walking away, heading up to Mom. "Mama, alles in Ordnung?" I ask. Mom nods. "Mir geht's gut, mein Liebling. Bitte betrink dich nicht zu sehr. Sag uns einfach Bescheid, wenn du nach Hause willst." She says. I nod. "Kann Max über Nacht bleiben? Sie hat schon wieder mit Joey gestritten. Er hat Rileys Geschwisterchen zur Welt gebracht." I ask her. Mom looks at Dad, who nods. "Yeah that's fine." Dad says. I giggle. I run up to Max. "Baby!" I say, grinning. Max smiles. "What's up, pretty princess?" She says. I blush. "Stop! Anyways, Mom and Dad said you can stay the night!" I say. Max grins. "Sick. That means you won't be walking tomorrow." My cheeks go red. "Maxine Ash Graceffa! You can't just say that!" I yell, blushing like mad. "Oh, but I can. All's fair in love and war, baby girl." She says, grabbing my hand and leading me back onto the dance floor. I giggle.

We pull apart, panting. Max rolls over, cleaning me up before cleaning herself up. "I've missed this. I've missed you." I say. Max looks at me. "I know. But this time next year, we'll be seniors, Ash. After that we'll go to college and we can move out of LA with the group. Live in a house together and wont have to worry about parents or any of that shit." She says. I smile. I wrap my bare body around hers. "Do you ever wonder about if life was different? Would our souls still cross paths?" I ask her. Max nods. "I think so. You're mine, and I'm yours." She holds my hand, kissing it softly. I hum, kissing her cheek.
