Riley's phone starts ringing, making us groan. Riley blindly reaches for it, grumbling. "Hmm?" She says sleepily, putting it on speaker.
"Riley, can you get an Uber to the police station? Maxine and her friends are in a cell." Xornoth says. Riley sits up, blinking. "What?!" She squeaks. "Yep, got busted by police at Axel's 19th. They're all wasted." He says. Riley sighs. "We'll be there in 15." Riley hangs up, chucking me my clothes. "Dressed. Now." She says, pulling on her underwear. "Baby, what-" She interrupts me, glaring. I nod, dressing and running a hand through my untamed hair. "Uber will be here in 2. Shoes." She says. I nod again, slipping on my trainers.

We walk into the station, looking around. Riley spots her parents and runs up to them, hugging them tightly. "Papa, go home. Take Zade with you." She says. Joey nods, kissing Xornoth's cheek and leaving. "Where are they?" I ask. Xornoth sighs. In a cell out back. Axel and Maxine were being especially rowdy." He runs a hand through his hair. "Maxine is so stupid! She's underage! She could get-" Someone clears their throat, interrupting Riley's rant. We look up. "I could get what? Arrested? Pfft." Maxine is stood there, gang right behind her. "Cute of you to be so worried, Miss Perfect." She says sarcastically, making the others giggle. Riley growls. "You're a fucking idiot, you know that?" Maxine grins. "Always have been, always will. Now run along and fuck your boyfriend some more. Your shirt is inside out, fuckface." They all walk off. Riley looks at the floor, tears streaming down her face. Xornoth calls after Maxine, running outside.
