Melody comes back and sits in Caleb's lap, resting her head on his shoulder. "Why did you go and talk to my sister?" Riley asks, frowning. Melody shrugs. "Your sister is pretty cool, Riley. She's never done anything wrong to me." She says. I scoff. "Still. You shouldn't have talked to them." I say. Melody looks up. "Like you shouldn't have said my boyfriend's parent's don't love him?" Melody questions. I look down. "Melody, I didn't mean that." I say quietly. "Sure you didn't. And the fact that your parents didn't even tell you off shows how much of a fucking spoilt bitch you are. But hey ho." She says. I flinch, looking at Zack. He doesn't say anything. "Melody! Stop!" Riley hisses. Melody laughs. "Or what? You gonna unfriend me? Always playing the victim and meddling in stuff that doesn't fucking concern you. Typical Riley." She says. Riley sniffles. "Oh stop crying, Riley! That's all you ever do is fucking cry! You're not special and the world doesn't revolve around you! Omfg!" She raises her voice.
Lauren rushes over, face full of thunder. "Melody Weber! What the fuck has gotten into you?!" She hisses. "Caleb, a lot of times." Melody quips. Max bursts out into laughter with the rest of her group. Caleb smiles proudly at Melody. "You're being a bitch, Melody." I say. Melody looks at me. "And you're a slut. Both things we can't control I suppose. I gasp, standing up. "What-" Melody interrupts me by slapping me so hard I see stars. "SHUT THE FUCK UP FOR ONCE IN YOUR FUCKING LIFE!" She screams. Everyone is watching, some are giggling. I look down holding my cheek, completely humiliated. "Caleb, come on. Let's go get some food." Melody says. Caleb grabs her hand and they walk inside, smiling at each other.
