I had always been taught to be honest, even when others weren't.
So it was really annoying when people lied to me.
Really fucking annoying.
As I grew up, I realized something important though.
I could tell if people were lying.
And before you say it, no I'm not some asshat who was experimented on, traumatized at a young age, and stripped of all my respect and dignity.
I still have a little amount of that left.
