I was going through my room like a madwoman. I know I put in somewhere in here for safe keeping. I know I did.

Kol sat on my bed as he tried to process everything that had just occurred. "What are you looking for, Tia?" I didn't answer him. Was it petty? Yes. It was bitchy even. But I didn't care in that moment. I was so mad at him. "If you have some disagreement you would like to share, I'm all ears."

I growled before turning around and crossing my arms. "Where's Rebekah?"

He scoffed. "Besides that."

I roll my eyes and go back to searching. It has to be in here.

Suddenly I look down at my phone and see Elijah is trying to call me. I tentatively pick up. "Do you need something, brother?"

He sighed. "Are you alright?"

I lightly smile. He was so bored. "I'm locked in a cage that is my own home while Nik is left to deal with Finn by himself. Which means there's a strong chance he'll kill him. So I don't think I'm alright, Elijah. Are you?"

Elijah chuckles. "Truth be told, I am in the same predicament as yourself. Niklaus expects me to sit here and do nothing. And it kills me."

I shake my head. "You're not doing nothing, brother. You're looking after Hope and my sunshine. That is far from nothing. And there is no one else I would trust more with this job."

I don't see it, but from his tone I could tell he was smiling. "And what is our traitorous brother up to now?"

I scoff. "I can handle him. I'll find out where Rebekah is. Trust me."

"I always do."

I smile. "I gotta go. Looking for something that might help Nik." And hang up.

Kol grumbled as he pouted like a child. "What cruel things did Elijah have to say about me?"

I roll my eyes. "Nothing. Called you a traitor. Which isn't far off."

He scoffs. "Really? After what you said to Nik downstairs. I thought you understood. We've all done some truly heinous crimes to each other, but I'm the traitor?"

I turn to him with a glare. "I never thought one of us would stoop so low to be Klaus. Holding a sibling hostage and at his mercy."

Kol looked genuinely hurt by my words. "Rebekah is perfectly fine! I didn't dagger her! It's not the same."

"Where is she?" I asked again.

He glared back. "Fuck you, Tia. How about that?"

I grab a pillow off of my bed and scream out my frustration. "Can you stop acting like a child! This is serious. In case you didn't realize, we are at war!"

He rolls his eyes. "We're always at war! Were you this harsh when you learned that Rebekah was the reason I got daggered in 1914? Or when she stood and helped the Gilbert's before my body was even cold thanks to them? But I put her soul into someone I didn't tell you and suddenly I'm just as bad as Nik. That's what you're saying? So the rest of the family can betray and stab each other in the back and everyone will act like it's a regular Tuesday, but when I do it I'm a traitor! It's not fair!"

I sigh. "I hear you on a lot of what you're saying. Klaus took it too far by locking you in here when you can't fully protect yourself. And he and Elijah are being overdramatic about you being an enemy to our family. But you need to understand, Kol, that the reason we are so terrified is because right now Rebekah is in a mortal body somewhere in New Orleans where our brother and father are currently roaming, seeking revenge on us. What happens if she dies while you're too stubborn to tell us her location?"
